It is easy to create a SamCart Account. Log into the website SamCart.com and click on the obvious ‘TRY IT FREE’ button.
The pricing page will redirect you to the plan selection page.
It’s not necessary to pay an initial payment in order to try it. When you click on any one of the plans you will be taken straight to the checkout page.
During the 14 day trial, the product will not be charged to your credit card. Remember that you have the right to cancel your subscription at any time during the trial period.
Once you place your order, you’ll be taken on a signup webpage.
Then you will need to create your marketplace. The form below is the example.
Fill out the form and once you’re done, click “Create Marketplace” to get started.

Next step is to create a checkout page. Here is an example of how SamCart’s dashboard will look:
It took only 3 steps to create your checkout page.
Step 1 Edit Settings
To edit the page, click on the Edit Settings button. A new tab will open. Don’t worry, you’ll be taken to that page automatically.
Let’s do it step by step.
The Edit page is broken into five sections. In the General tab, you can edit quite a wide range of options from your cart logo to your content URL parameters.
Let’s see what you can edit in this fields:
i Marketplace Name: The Marketplace name is something you can always change, remember you added it in your signup process, right?
You can still edit it if you think that wasn’t accurate.
You can then choose a country that will be displayed as default on your checkout page. Customers can also change this to any country they wish.
ii). Time Zone: This allows you to choose the Time Zone in which your cart will function. Samcart Tutorial
This is important because, if you include a product expiry day, your date/time will be calculated based on your time zone. You can inform your customers about the time zone.
iii). Support Contact: In this field, you want to add your support contact email. Add an email customers can contact you with easily.
Any email can be added. However, it’s better to add a business email address, for example, [email protected]
iv). Currency: You can’t change your currency once you have registered it. You cannot change your currency after registration.
You can change the SamCart support number if you need to.

vi This field is for purchase completion. You will need to choose the location where your users will be taken after making a payment. If you would like them to go back to the original URL, you can display a summary page or include redirect links. It’s your choice.
With the Redirect Link Button Text, you can tell your customers what next to do with a call for action button.
You can, for example, grant them access to the product.
Once you’ve completed these steps, you should feel confident and ready to go. You can however, configure your marketing data at once if you wish.
You can keep the settings as they are. If you prefer a custom setting, you can modify the fields using any name you like following the example.
Save the settings after you have finished editing. The Save button is at the top right corner of the page.
The next step is to move to the Integration tab. You will find a lot of integration options there.
You need to make sure you have the integration set up now, so it doesn’t take you too long to add new products.
Let’s first integrate our email autoresponder program. To add an email address service, click the + Add New button.
Pick the one that best suits you. Once you have registered with AWeberor MailChimp click on it to follow the instructions.
Let’s pretend that MailChimp is the autoresponder of your choice in this example.
You can edit the integration details by selecting MailChimp in the drop-down menu. Add the integration name and your API Key.
You can enter any name to your label. You will use this name to identify your integration, in the event that you decide to use it. It’s best to name it something descriptive. MailChimp Integration is what I will name it. Samcart Tutorial
Log in to your MailChimp account and you will receive your API key. Log in to Mailchimp.com with your username, password and email address.
Once you login successfully into your MailChimp account navigate to the Extras menu and you’ll find API keys in the drop-down list.
Click on the Create a Key button and the API key will be generated for you automatically. The API key will be generated automatically for you.
Copy it and copy it to your SamCart Integration setup.
That’s all there is.
You may need to do some modifications if you wish to integrate other platforms.
To integrate with Aweber, for example, you don’t need to manually go to your dashboard to get your API key. The system will allow you to log in and complete the integration.

These are typically the two methods that integrate in many cases.
However, if you have a product that is a member site, it might be a good idea to integrate with a members platform.
Scroll down until you find the link to join.
Click the + Add New button.
This page will be displayed:
Click on Add Integration and choose the membership platform that you would like to use with your product.
You can proceed to enter the information and then click the button for integration. Your dashboard has all the information. Log in to your OptimizeMember dashboard for all the details.
Next, customize the email settings. To access this functionality, click on the Email Tab.
a Email Footer – Here you can edit your footer details, which will be included in all emails you send from your dashboard.
Once you click the button, a popup will appear for you to modify.

Click the Edit button to edit it.
What about when processes break down? Here is where you set the emails sent to customers when processes fail they are called Dunning Emails.

You can edit your emails and add custom fields, if you want. Here’s where you can add custom fields to the checkout page.
Custom Fields: Click on the + Add New button to create a new field.
A pop-up will be displayed.
Please enter the names of the fields that you wish to add. The customer won’t see the internal field name, but the check-out page label will.
You will see a list with all the items you have selected when you click on it. You should know that a drop-down listing allows only one item to be selected by the customer.
A checkbox will contain several items that a user can choose from. A customer has the option to select all of them, or just one.
It is a checkbox for one item.
After you have finished, click on Save.
As many as possible can be added. I warn you that customers don’t like long forms. Be brief.
They will likely abandon their shopping cart. As I mentioned, 2/3 customers will abandon the shopping cart.
Don’t add another reason for them to leave. As one of the reasons 27% of customers in the research say they leave a shopping cart is because it’s too long and complicated. Samcart Tutorial
Keep it simple.
Enter their email address in Enter email and click on the Add New button. Once they accept your request, you will be sent an email. After they accept your request, they will be able login as administrator.
Now you are done with Step 1.
Next, let’s move to Step 2:
Step 2 Connect a Processor
If you have not been following this tutorial, please go back and open the previous tab. At this point, you want to connect a payment processor to enable you to receive payments. Click the Add Payment Processing button.
You will be taken back to Settings. Where you can find the payment integration option.
To add a payment processor, click on the big ADD NEW button or the +Add New Button by the top right corner of the page.
SamCart now integrates with Stripe and Paypal.
After clicking on the Create New link, a page will open showing you this:
Click on Stripe and Paypal. Clicking on Stripe will bring up a page for you to log in.

Fill in the form and you should be ready to go. Make sure your country is the list of countries that accept Stripe payments.
If you’re willing to offer two payment options to customers, it will be a nice touch. Customers can choose the payment method they prefer.
Let’s now move on to the next step.
Step 3 – Create a Product
Return to your dashboard. Now you will be taken to the Payment processor page. Here’s the fun part: click on the Add first Product Button.
Once you click on that button, you should see the following page:
Click the button “+New Product”
This page is available to you for adding new product information. Enter the product name and price. And also choose if it’s going to be a one time payment or recurring payment.
An ebook product will be a one-time payment product. However, an online course or membership will require a recurring payment option.
Once you have entered the product information you may need to update the next page.
You can see that at the top menu, they’re other settings you can make to complete your check out.
Let’s start from the product image. Upload your product image. The image that will show up like this one one SamCart checkout page:
When customers make a purchase on your checkout page they will be directed to a specific webpage. Most people will have a page like yourdomain.com/thankyou.html Next enter the product type are you selling a digital product or physical product?
If it’s a digital product, you have the option to upload it immediately. If it isn’t a digital product, however, you can ignore that option. Samcart Tutorial
Finally, this stage allows you to enable the coupon codes option if you intend to use coupons for your marketing.
Once you enable it, you’ll be able to add coupons people can use to buy your product at a discounted price.
Click on the Add New Coupon button. A popup window will open with the following information.
Coupon codes are a great way for businesses to get more customers. Discounts are loved by customers. Some customers might even buy products they don’t need because of the discount.
They’ll admit that it might become expensive later and may not be able to afford it.

Complete the coupon code setup: Choose a code for your coupon code, set the duration will it be a one-time coupon or a recurring coupon code? Choose the one that best describes what your customer wants.
It is entirely optional to add a coupon.
Let’s get to the checkout page design now:
Click on the Checkout Design tab and then select from more than 18 templates at the time of writing. You can choose any one of them that suits your brand.
Scroll down to customize the design. There are many settings you can adjust to make your brand voice heard.
Begin by customizing your colors.
You can select from predefined color codes and create your own. It also has a color selector, so you can choose the color you desire without worrying about the color codes.
You can change the color of the header, footer, background, headline, and your buttons color.
Next, you will need to add fields. This includes your custom fields. We also have the “school”, which we previously created, that we can add to your product pages. You can check the fields that you wish to make active on your checkout pages.

You can click on the payments tab and change the active payment options.

However, if Stripe has been integrated into your system, it will be active and you can turn the on/off switch.
You can also add another payment processor. This is only for merchants that want to add a second product. Select an item by clicking on the dropdown menu. Samcart Tutorial
You wish to add an additional product. Click on “Upsell” to edit the upsell options. This is how an upsell product should look like:
This should be something your customers are able to add to their shopping carts to complement the product they have purchased.
To modify your Upsells click on the UpSellstab and edit it. When adding a product to your cart, make sure you have created it, just like the product for belly fat. You just need to click on the Add button.
This is where you can add any upsell funnels you have created. In this article, we will talk about upsell funnels.
Let’s now look at the next stage in creating our product checkout page, and that’s integration.
Click on the Integration tab
You’ll see that our MailChimp Integration is appearing in the dropdown list.

If you want to know how your checkout page is converting, the right place to goto is your report section in your SamCart dashboard.

Affiliates can register by following the link to promote your products. Once your affiliates have created an Account, they will be notified by email that their application was approved.

Once approved, they’ll be sent their login details Email, password, login URL where they can access their accounts and everything they require to start promoting your products.
However, if you don’t want to keep them pending, you can activate automatic approval in your Affiliate dashboard.
Scroll to the bottom of your affiliate dashboard to edit these settings. You’ll see a slide called “Auto Approval” that you can toggle off or on:
Instead of getting email notifications that their application was pending approval, applicants will automatically be approved. They will immediately receive their login information and be logged in to the dashboard.
Here’s how the dashboards of your affiliates will look once they login.
What will it take for someone who clicked on your affiliate link and didn’t purchase the first time to be considered an affiliate referral?
If I click on your affiliate link, return to your checkout page, and make a purchase after 30 days, am I still considered your referral?
You can also add these settings to your account:
Scroll down in your affiliate dashboard until you see the Cookie Expiration option. Enter the number and duration of time you wish it to stay.
The following example shows that if someone clicks on an associate link and buys your product within 30 days, it will be recorded for your affiliates.

The Product Payment Frequency allows you to choose how often your customers will pay for the product. You can choose from weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly or any other frequency.
