Create an account

It’s easy to set up a SamCart profile. Log in to SamCart.com, and click the “TRY IT FREE” button.

The pricing page will redirect you to the plan selection page.

There is no need to make an initial payment. You can just try it out without paying anything. Click on any of these plans to be taken the checkout page.

During the 14-day free trial period, there will be no charges for you to use the product. You may cancel your subscription within 14 days of the trial.

Once you place your order, you’ll be taken on a signup webpage.

Your marketplace will be created. A form similar to the one shown below will appear.

Complete the form, and click “Create Marketplace” once you are done.

Step 1: Modify Settings

Click on the Edit settings button, and the page you want to edit will be displayed in a brand new tab. Do not worry, the page will be automatically taken to.

The Edit page is broken into five sections. The General tab lets you edit a range of options, from your cart logo to the parameters of your content URL.

Copy it and paste into your SamCart integration setup.

You might also need to integrate another platform. This process could be slightly different.

You don’t even have to go to your dashboard in order to obtain your API Key. Aweber will automatically log you in to complete your integration.

These are usually the two ways the integration processes always work, in many cases.

You might want to integrate your product with a membership website if it is.

Click on the + Add New button.

Click on Add Integration to select the membership platform you wish to use for your product.

You can enter all the details and click on the “integrate” button. Your dashboard contains all the information you need. Log in to your OptimizeMember dashboard for all the details.

Next, you can now customize your email settings. Click on the Email tab to access this function. You can modify the following settings:

a Email Footer: You can edit the details of your footer that will appear in each email you send using your dashboard.

After clicking it, a popup window will open for you to edit.

This could be, for example, when a customer orders are refunded.

b Customizable Emails:

Click on the Edit button and edit it.

What happens if processes fail completely? Here is where you set the emails sent to customers when processes fail they are called Dunning Emails.

After editing your emails are complete, you can add custom field if you would like. If you wish to add customized fields on your checkout page, this is the place to do it.

Custom Fields: Click on the + Add New button to create a new field.

A pop-up will appear.

Enter the name(s) of the fields you would like to add. However, your customer won’t be able to see the internal field names. Instead, the customer will see the check out label as the field name.

You will see a list with all the items you have selected when you click on it. A drop-down list allows the customer to choose only one item.

A checkbox will contain several items that a user can choose from. The customer can decide to choose all of them or choose just one out of all of them.

However, this is only a one-item checkbox.

After you have finished, click on Save.

You can add as many as you wish. However, long forms are not liked by customers. Make sure your form is not too long.

They’ll most likely abandon it. As I mentioned earlier, two thirds of customers abandon their shopping cart.

Do not add another reason why they might leave. As one of the reasons 27% of customers in the research say they leave a shopping cart is because it’s too long and complicated. Samcart Tracking Integration

Please keep it simple.

Enter their email address below and click Add New. The email will be sent to them to confirm your request. Once they have accepted your request, they’ll be able to log in as an administrator.

This completes Step 1 of the setup process.

Next, let’s move to Step 2:

Step 2: Connect a Processor

Go back to the previous tab if you’ve been following this tutorial. Now you will connect a pay processor to allow you to receive payments. Click on the Add payment processor button.

The Settings tab will open again. The payment integration option can be found here.

To add a processor to your payment page, click on either the +Add New Button or the ADD NEW BUTTON in the top-right corner.

SamCart has integrated with Stripe (PayPal) and Paypal (as of the writing of this article).

Once you click on the Create New button, a page will pop up showing this:

Click on Stripe, or Paypal. If you click on Stripe, this page will show up for you to login your credentials.

Once you have completed the form, you will be able to start your journey. Make sure your country is the list of countries that accept Stripe payments.

If you are able to include both payment options for your customers that would be nice. Customers can choose which payment processor they prefer.

Let’s continue to the next step.

Step 3: Create a Product

Return to your dashboard. Return to your dashboard. Click on the Add First Product Button this is the interesting part.

Click that button and you’ll see the following page.

Click on the +New Product button.

This page will allow you to enter new product information. You will need to enter the product name, description, and price. Also, choose whether you want a one-time or recurring payment.

A product like an ebook will most likely be a one time payment type of product, however, a product such as a membership or an online course will most likely require a recurring payment option.

You might need additional information after you’ve added product information.

The settings are located at the top of the menu.

Let’s start with the product picture. Upload your product image. The image you upload will look exactly like the one on SamCart’s checkout page.

Enter a webpage address your customers will be taken to when they complete their purchase on your checkout page. Most people will have a page like yourdomain.com/thankyou.html Next enter the product type are you selling a digital product or physical product?

If the product is digital you can upload it instantly. You can ignore this option if the product is not digital. Samcart Tracking Integration

Finally, this stage allows you to enable the coupon codes option if you intend to use coupons for your marketing.

Once you enable it, you’ll be able to add coupons people can use to buy your product at a discounted price.

Click on the button to Add New Coupon. A pop-up will appear with the following information.

You can generate more customers by using coupon codes. Customers love discounts. Think about it: Some customers may be able to buy items they don’t even need simply because the price is lower.

They might say that it could become very expensive in the future and they may not have the money to purchase it at the time.

Complete the coupon setup: Pick a code for your coupon, and select whether it is a one time coupon or a regular coupon. Choose the one that best describes what your customer wants.

Let’s move on to the checkout pages design.

Click on the Checkout Design tab and then select from more than 18 templates at the time of writing. Any one of these templates can be chosen to suit your brand.

To customize the design, scroll down. You can customize the settings to fit your brand’s voice.

Begin by customizing your colors.

You have the option to choose from predefined color codes or design your own. It has a colour picker that allows you to pick the color you wish without having to remember the color codes.

You can change the color of the header, footer, background, headline, and your buttons color.

Next, you’ll need to add some fields, including custom fields. If you remember the “school”, we can also add this to your product page. Check the fields that are active on your checkout page.

Click on the payment tab to switch the active payment options.

However, if Stripe has been integrated into your system, it will be active and you can turn the on/off switch.

Add an upsell product. Click on “Upsell” to edit the upsell options. Here’s an example how your upsell product would look:

It should be an item your customers can add to their shopping cart to compliment the product they’ve bought.

Edit your Upsells by clicking on the UpSells Tab and editing it. To add a product, you will need to have created it just as we did for the belly fat product. Click and then add the product.

This is where you can add any upsell funnels you have created. We’ll be discussing the upsell channel later in this article.

Next, let’s take a look at the next step in the process of creating our product checkout page and that’s integration.

You’ll notice that our MailChimp integration is showing up with our list in the drop-down list.

Select from the drop-down menu to choose which customers you would like to add to your list after a refund or purchase. You can also remove them from your list after purchase or refund.

Affiliates can register by following the link to promote your products. Once your affiliates have created an Account, they will be notified by email that their application was approved.

Once they have been approved they will receive their login credentials Email, password, login URL. This allows them to access their accounts, as well as everything else they need, in order to promote your products.

You can however activate automatic approval from your Affiliate dashboard if you don’t want them to remain pending.

To edit this settings, scroll down to the bottom of your affiliate dashboard and you’ll find a slide named Auto Approval you can toggle on or off:

Instead of being notified by email that their application is pending approval they will be automatically approved. They’ll receive their login details right away and will be automatically logged into their dashboard.

What will it take for someone who clicked on your affiliate link and didn’t purchase the first time to be considered an affiliate referral?

For example, if I click on your affiliate link and return to your checkout page after 30 days and make a purchase, will I still be regarded as your referral?

You can also add these settings to your account:

Scroll down until you find the Cookie Expiration option in your affiliate dashboard. Enter the number days it will last.

The following example shows that if someone clicks on an associate link and buys your product within 30 days, it will be recorded for your affiliates.

Once you have all that set up, click in the top left corner to share the code.
