Create an account
It is very simple to create a SamCart. Log into SamCart.com. Click the “Try It Free” button.
The pricing page will redirect you to the plan selection page.
Before you can try it, you don’t need to make an initial payment. When you click on any one of the plans you will be taken straight to the checkout page.
During the 14-day free trial period, there will be no charges for you to use the product. You have 14 days to cancel your subscription.
Once you place your order, you’ll be taken on a signup webpage.
Next, you’ll need to create a marketplace. The form below is the example.
To get started, fill out the form.
Now you’re fully registered and can start using SamCart. Samcart Store
Next, create a checkout page. Here’s how your SamCart dashboard looks like:
As you can see, it takes only three steps to create your checkout pages.
Step 1 Edit Settings
To edit the page, click on the Edit Settings button. A new tab will open. You’ll automatically be taken to the page.
Let’s move on.
The Edit page has five sections. In the General tab, you can edit quite a wide range of options from your cart logo to your content URL parameters.
Let’s look at the fields you can edit:
i). Marketplace Name. This name is customizable.
If you feel it wasn’t correct, you can still make changes to it.
Next, you will choose the default country for your checkout page. Your customers can change it at any time to their country of choice.
ii). Time Zone: Select the Time Zone with which your cart will operate. Samcart Store
This is important because, if you include a product expiry day, your date/time will be calculated based on your time zone. You can inform your customers about the time zone.
iii). Support Contact: Here you will add your support email. Add an email customers can contact you with easily.
Any email address you choose can be added. However, it’s better to add a business email address, for example, [email protected]
iv). Currency: After you register your currency, you will not be able change it. So at this point, you can’t change your currency.
If you wish to make any changes to it, contact the SamCart support team.
You don’t need any other settings for that to work. It should work right out the box. Samcart Store
vi). This field is for purchase completion. You will need to choose the location where your users will be taken after making a payment. The choice of whether they want to be redirected to the original redirect URL, or displayed a summary page containing redirect links is up to them.
And the Redirect Link Button Text allows you to show your customers what they should do next with a call to action button.
For example, they can gain access to your product, download the digital product that they have purchased, and join your premium section.
After you have completed this step, you will be ready to go. But if you need to quickly configure your marketing analytics, you can do this as well.
You don’t need to change the settings. However, if you wish to create a custom setting, just follow the steps above and replace the names in the fields.
Save the settings after you have finished editing. The Save button is located in the top right corner.
Next, you can move to the Integration menu tab: There are a bunch of integrations options there.
It is important to set up the integration early so that you don’t have it to do each time you need to sell a product.
Let’s begin by integrating our email-autoresponder software. To add an email address service, click the + Add New button.
Pick the one that’s most relevant to you. After you have signed up with AWeberor MailChimp you will be able to click on it and then follow the instructions for integration.
Let’s assume that MailChimp is your autoresponder of choice for this example.
If you choose MailChimp from the drop-down menu, edit the integration details. Input your API key and add the integration label.
For your label, you can use any name that you like. This will be what you use to identify the integration should you choose to. So name it something that’ll be a bit descriptitive. MailChimp Integration is what I will name it. Samcart Store
Log in to your MailChimp account and you will receive your API key. Go to Mailchimp.com and log in with your username and password.
After you log in successfully to your MailChimp account, navigate to the Extras menu. You’ll find API keys at the drop-down.
Click on Create a Key to get your API key generated automatically. It’s that easy!
Copy it and paste into your SamCart integration setup.
And that’s all there is to it.
You might also need to integrate another platform. This process could be slightly different.
To integrate with Aweber, for example, you don’t need to manually go to your dashboard to get your API key. The system will allow you to log in and complete the integration.

These are the two main ways integration works in most cases.
However, if you have a product that is a member site, it might be a good idea to integrate with a members platform.
Scroll down to the bottom of the page until you see the Membership link.
Click the + Add New button.
This page will be displayed:
Click on Add Integration and choose the membership platform that you would like to use with your product.
I can continue to input the information and click on “Integrate” Your dashboard has all the information. Log in to your OptimizeMember dashboard for all the details.
Next, you will be able to customize your email settings. To access this functionality, click on the Email Tab.
a Email Footer: Here you can edit the footer details that will appear in every email you send from your dashboard, either automatically or manually.
Once you click the button, a popup will appear for you to modify.
Next, create emails for customers that are always the same for certain events. Samcart Store

Click on the Edit button and edit it.
What about when processes break down? This is where you can set up the emails that are sent to customers when processes fail. They are known as Dunning Emails.
c). Dunning Emails
After editing your emails are complete, you can add custom field if you would like. Here’s where you can add custom fields to the checkout page.
Custom Fields Click the + New Button to Add a Field
Pop ups will appear.
Enter the name of the fields you want to add, the internal field name won’t be seen by your customer but the check out page label will be shown to the customer as the field name.
A drop-down list of items appears when you click the field. You should know that a drop-down listing allows only one item to be selected by the customer.
A checkbox contains several items that a customer can choose from. You have the option of choosing all of them or one from each.
This is a single item checkbox though.
Click on Save once you are done.
As many as you like. You should be aware that customers dislike long forms. Your form shouldn’t be too long.
They will likely abandon their shopping cart. As I mentioned, 2/3 customers will abandon the shopping cart.
You shouldn’t give customers another reason to abandon your site. The research shows that 27% leave shopping carts when they find it too difficult or lengthy. Samcart Store
Keep it simple.
Enter their email address in Enter email and click on the Add New button. You will receive an email inviting them to accept your request. They will receive an email to accept your request. Once that happens, they will also be able log in as an administrator.
This completes Step 1 of the setup process.
Let’s now move on to Step 2.
Step 2: Connect a Processor
Go back to the previous tab if you’ve been following this tutorial. At this point, you want to connect a payment processor to enable you to receive payments. Click on the Add payment processor button.
You will then be taken to Settings again. You will find the payment integration option here.
To add a payment processor, click on the big ADD NEW button or the +Add New Button by the top right corner of the page.
As of the time of this writing, SamCart integrates with two payment processors Paypal and Stripe.
Click on the Create New button to open a new page.
Click on Stripe and Paypal. You can login to Stripe by clicking on Stripe if you click Stripe.

Once you have completed the form, you will be able to start your journey. Check to make sure that your country appears on Stripe payment acceptance lists.
You can add both payment options for customers if you choose. Customers can choose the payment method they prefer.
Let’s now move on to the next step.
Step 3 Create a Product
Now, return to your dashboard. The Payment processor page will redirect you from your dashboard. Here’s the fun part: click on the Add first Product Button.
Once you click on that button, you should see the following page:
Click on “+New Product”.
This page will allow you to enter new product information. Enter the name, price, and description of your product. Select whether you’d like it to be a onetime payment or a recurring.
A product such as an ebook will likely only be available for one-time payments. However, a product such a membership or online course will likely require a recurring option.
Once you have entered the product information you may need to update the next page.
These settings can be found in the top menu.
Let’s start with the product picture. Upload your product image. This image will appear on the SamCart checkout page.
Enter the address of the website your customers will see when they click on your checkout button. Most people will have a page like yourdomain.com/thankyou.html Next enter the product type are you selling a digital product or physical product?
If it is a digital product you can upload it immediately. However, if it’s not a digital product, you can ignore that option. Samcart Store
Finally, this stage allows you to enable the coupon codes option if you intend to use coupons for your marketing.
After you enable it you can add coupons that people can use for your product at a discount price.
Click on the button to Add New Coupon. A pop-up will appear with the following information.
Coupon codes are a great way for businesses to get more customers. Discounts are loved by customers. Some customers might even buy products they don’t need because of the discount.
They will say it may become too expensive later on, when they might be in need and don’t have the cash.
This will make them more likely to want to buy. Coupon code marketing is a great strategy. Samcart Store
Setup the coupon code: Select a code to use for your coupon code. Also, choose whether it will be a one-time or recurring coupon code. Choose the best option to describe what you want your customers to receive.
It is entirely optional to add a coupon.
Now let’s move to the checkout page design:
Click on the Checkout Design tab and then select from more than 18 templates at the time of writing. You can choose any one of them that suits your brand.
To customize the design, scroll down. There are many settings that you can modify to make the design more consistent with your brand’s voice.
Start by customizing the colors.
You can choose from the pre-defined colors or make your own. It also has a color selector, so you can choose the color you desire without worrying about the color codes.
You can change the color for your header, footer, background and headline as well.
Next, you want to add some fields including your custom fields remember the “school” field we created previously, we can also add it here to your product page. Check the fields that are active on your checkout page.
You can now move to the next settings in your product guarantee settings. What guarantee are your customers getting? Are you offering a guarantee of 30 days? Samcart Store
You can add this setting here. Like I told you initially, SamCart is developed with conversion in mind. All these features encourage conversion.
To add more bullet points on your Checkout page, you can use the +Add Bolt button.
Once everything is set up, you can start adding your terms & conditions. Turn in on.
Customers must accept your terms and condition before they are able to purchase your product.
Have in mind that you’ll provide a URL where your terms and condition content is hosted.
The link is located at bottom of the page. It will include the hyperlink “Terms, Conditions”. Next you will need to add payment processors for your checkout page. You won’t need repeat step 2 again.
Just click on the Payments tab and turn the Payment options that are active on.
PayPal is not active in my case as I haven’t integrated PayPal for this review. Samcart Store
But, Stripe can be activated if you have it integrated.
It is possible to add a second payment processor. This is a feature that merchants can use to add an alternate product. Click on the drop-down menu to select an item. Samcart Store
You would like to add an extra product. To edit the upsell option, click on the Upsell tab. Here’s an example of what your upsell product might look like.
It should be something that your customers can add in their shopping cart to go with the product.
To edit your Upsells, click on the UpSells tab and edit it. When adding a product to your cart, make sure you have created it, just like the product for belly fat. Just click on it and you’re done.
You can also add an upsell funnel to this page if you have one. Later in this article, we’ll discuss the upsell funnel.
Let’s now look at the next stage in creating our product checkout page, and that’s integration.
Click on Integration tab
You’ll see that our MailChimp Integration is appearing in the dropdown list.
Select from the drop-down menu to choose which customers you would like to add to your list after a refund or purchase. You can also remove them from your list after purchase or refund.

You can invite affiliates to register using this link and start promoting your products. Once your affiliates register, they’ll be notified about a successful registration. Also, their application is pending approval.

Once they have been approved they will receive their login credentials Email, password, login URL. This allows them to access their accounts, as well as everything else they need, in order to promote your products.
However, if you don’t want to keep them pending, you can activate automatic approval in your Affiliate dashboard.
Scroll to the bottom of your affiliate dashboard to edit these settings. You’ll see a slide called “Auto Approval” that you can toggle off or on:
So instead of receiving email notifications that they’re application is pending approval, they’ll automatically be approved. They will immediately receive their login information and be logged in to the dashboard.
