Step 1: Modify Settings
You can click the Edit Settings button to open the page you wish to edit in a new tab. Don’t worry, you’ll be taken to that page automatically.
Let’s do it step by step.
The Edit page is divided in five sections. The General tab lets you edit a range of options, from your cart logo to the parameters of your content URL.
Let’s find out what we can do with these fields.
i Marketplace Name: The Marketplace name is something you can always change, remember you added it in your signup process, right?
It’s possible to edit it if necessary.
Then you can select a country to show as the default on your checkout page, and of course, your customers can always change it to whatever country they are in.

This is important as if you add an expiry date to your product, it will count based on the time zone that you specify. You can also let your customers know which time zone you use.
iii). Support Contact: Here you will add your support email. Add an email customers can contact you with easily.
Any email address can be added. However, it’s better to add a business email address, for example, [email protected]
iv). Currency: You can’t change your currency once you have registered it. So at this point, you can’t change your currency.
However, if you want to change it, you should be able to do that by contacting the SamCart support team.

vi Complete purchase: Here you can select the destination your users will go to after making a purchase. Do you want them to redirect to the original redirect URL or you want to display a summary page with redirect links It’s up to you.
You can also use the Redirect Link ButtonText to let your customers know what to do next.
For example, you can allow them to gain access to the product, allow them to download the digital product they just paid for, join your membership site premium area, etc.
After you have completed this step, you will be ready to go. But if you need to quickly configure your marketing analytics, you can do this as well.
You can keep the settings as they are. However, if you wish to create a custom setting, just follow the steps above and replace the names in the fields.
After you are done editing the settings, please save them. The Save button appears in the top left corner of your page.
You can then move on to the Integration menu tab. There are many integration options available there.
It’s crucial to establish the integration before you start selling new products.
Let’s start with integrating our email autoresponder software. To add an additional email service, click “+Add New”
Pick the one that’s most relevant to you. Click on the icon if you’ve already signed up with AWeberor MailChimp to proceed with integration.

Modify the integration details for MailChimp if you have selected it from the dropdown menu. Add the integration label and input your API key.

After you login successfully to MailChimp, navigate the Extras menu. API keys will be found in the drop down list.

These are often the two most common ways in which integration processes work in many situations.

I can now input the required information and click the Integration button. Your dashboard has all the information. Log in to OptimizeMember Dashboard to view them.
Next, customize the email settings. This functionality is available by clicking on the Email tab. Some settings that you can edit are:
a). Email Footer: You can edit the details of your footer that will appear in each email you send using your dashboard.
After clicking it, a popup window will open for you to edit.

You can edit it by clicking on the Edit link.
What happens if processes fail completely? Here are Dunning Emails. These emails are for customers who experience failure in processes.

When you are done editing your emails, you can go ahead to add some custom fields if you like. Here’s where you can add custom fields to the checkout page.
To add custom fields, click on the + Create New button.
A pop up will appear.
Enter the name(s) of the fields you would like to add. However, your customer won’t be able to see the internal field names. Instead, the customer will see the check out label as the field name.
You will see a list with all the items you have selected when you click on it. You should know that a drop-down listing allows only one item to be selected by the customer.
A checkbox can contain multiple items that the user can choose from. Customers can choose to pick all or one of the items in a checkbox.
However, this is only a one-item checkbox.
Once you are done, click on Save.
You can add as many as you wish. Let me warn you: Customers hate long forms. Don’t make your form too long.
It’s likely they will abandon it. Like I stated earlier, 2 out of 3 customers will abandon their shopping cart.

Keep it simple.
Enter their email address below and click Add New. Your request will be accepted by them via email. After they accept your request, they will be able login as administrator.
You are done with Step one in the setup process.
Next, let us move on to step 2:
Step 2 Connect a Processor
If you have been following the tutorial, go back to the previous tab. You will need to connect a processor in order to receive payments. Click on the Add payment processor button.
You’ll be taken to the Settings once again and in the integration tab. The payment integration option can be found here.
Click on the big ADD New button or the +Add new Button in the upper right corner of the page to add a payment processor.
SamCart now integrates with Stripe and Paypal.
After clicking on the Create New link, a page will open showing you this:
Click on Stripe or Paypal. Click on Stripe to open this page and log in with your credentials.

You can start by filling out the form. Check that your country is on the Stripe payment list.
It would be great if you could offer both payment options to your customers. Customers can choose the preferred payment processor.
Let’s continue to the next step.
Step 3: Create A Product
Now return to your dashboard. Now you will be taken to the Payment processor page. This is the most interesting part.
Click on this button to open the next page
Click on the +New Products button.
This page will be available for you to add product information. Enter the product name, price and description. Choose whether the payment will be one-time or recurring.
A product such an ebook will typically be a one-time purchase type. However, a product like a membership, or an online course, will likely require a regular payment option.
You might need additional information after you’ve added product information.
You’ll see them in the top menu. There are other settings that you can change to complete your checkout.
Let’s start with the product picture. Upload your product image. This is the image that will be displayed on SamCart’s checkout page.
You can enter the URL of the webpage your customers will visit when they make their purchase from your checkout page. Most people will have a page like yourdomain.com/thankyou.html Next enter the product type are you selling a digital product or physical product?
If it’s a digital product, you have the option to upload it immediately. You can ignore this option if the product is not digital. Samcart Sign Up Affiliate
Finally, at this stage, you can enable coupon codes if your plan is to use coupons as marketing tools.
When you enable it, people will be able add coupons to your product to get a discount.
Click the Add New Coupon Button. A pop-up will display the following information:
Promo codes can be a great way of generating more customers for your company. Discounts are loved by customers. Some customers might even buy products they don’t need because of the discount.
They will say it may become too expensive later on, when they might be in need and don’t have the cash.

Complete the coupon code setup: Choose a code for your coupon code, set the duration will it be a one-time coupon or a recurring coupon code? Choose the option that best describes the product you are offering your customers.
Not to mention, adding a coupon can be completely optional.
Let’s now move on to the checkout page design.
Click on the Checkout Design tab and then select from more than 18 templates at the time of writing. You can choose the one that best suits your brand.
Scroll down to customize the design. You’ll find a bunch of settings you can edit to match your brand’s voice.
You can start by customizing the colors.
You can either choose from pre-defined color codes, or you can create your own. The best part is that it has a color picker, you can use this color picker to select the color you want without bothering about the color codes.
You can change the color for your header, footer, background and headline as well.
Next, you want to add some fields including your custom fields remember the “school” field we created previously, we can also add it here to your product page. Check all fields you would like to see on your checkout webpage.

You can add that setting here. Like I told you initially, SamCart is developed with conversion in mind. These features are designed to encourage conversion.
You can add bullet points to the Checkout page by clicking on +Add Bullet.
Once that is complete, you are ready to add your terms. Now, turn it on.
Before a customer can buy your product, they must agree to your terms.
Have in mind that you’ll provide a URL where your terms and condition content is hosted.
The link will be at the bottom of the page with the hyperlink “Terms and Condition.” Next, you want to add the payment processor for your checkout page. It’s not necessary to repeat the steps that you did in step 2.
Click on the payment tab to switch the active payment options.

You can activate Stripe if Stripe has already been integrated.

Add an upsell product. Click on the Upsell tab to edit the upsell option. Here is an example of how your upsell product will look like:
It should be an item that customers can add to their shopping basket to compliment the product.
To edit your Upsells, click on the UpSells tab and edit it. Note that you must have created the product before adding it to the cart. You just need to click on the Add button.
You can also add an upsell funnel to this page if you have one. This article will discuss more about the upsell funnel.
Next, let us take a look to the next step of the process: creating the product checkout page. And that’s the integration.

Affiliates can register by following the link to promote your products. After your affiliates have created an account, they will be notified that the registration was successful and that their application has been approved.

Once they are approved, they will be sent their login details email, password, and login URL so they can access their accounts.
If you do not want to have them pending you can activate automatic approbation in your Affiliate Dashboard.
To edit this settings, scroll down to the bottom of your affiliate dashboard and you’ll find a slide named Auto Approval you can toggle on or off:
Instead of getting email notifications that their application was pending approval, applicants will automatically be approved. They’ll receive their login details right away and will be automatically logged into their dashboard.
