Create an account
It is very simple to create a SamCart. Log in to SamCart.com, and click the “TRY IT FREE” button.
You’ll be redirected to the pricing page where you can choose the plan you want to try.
The initial payment is not necessary before you try the product. Once you click on any of the plans, you’ll be taken to the checkout page.
You won’t be charged for using the product during the 14-day trial period. And note that you can cancel your subscription within the 14-day of trial.
After you have completed your order, you will be taken to the signup page.
Next, you’ll need to create a marketplace. The form below is the example.
Simply fill in the form. Then, click on “Create Marketplace” and you can get started.

Next step is to create your checkout page. Here’s an example of what your SamCart dashboard might look like:
This is how you can create your checkout page in just 3 steps.
Step 1: Modify Settings
To edit the page, click on the Edit Settings button. A new tab will open. Be assured that you will automatically be taken there.
Let’s take it step by step.
The Edit page is divided in five sections. The General tab lets you edit a range of options, from your cart logo to the parameters of your content URL.
Let’s find out what we can do with these fields.
i). Marketplace Name. You can always change your Marketplace name.
You can edit it if it’s not correct.
Then, you can choose which country will appear as the default for your checkout page. Of course, customers can always change it to another country.
ii). Time Zone: You can now select the Time Zone your cart will be working with. Samcart Ryan Moran
This is important as if you add an expiry date to your product, it will count based on the time zone that you specify. You can also let your customers know which time zone you use.
iii). Support Contact: You will need to enter your support contact email in this field. Add an email address so customers can easily reach you.
You can add any email you like. However, it’s better to add a business email address, for example, [email protected]
iv). Currency: It’s also important to note that you won’t be able to change your currency after you set it during registration. At this point, your currency cannot be changed.
However, if you want to change it, you should be able to do that by contacting the SamCart support team.

vi You can also choose where you want your customers to go after they have completed their purchase. You can choose whether you want your users to go to the original URL or display a summary page with links.
And the Redirect Link Button Text allows you to show your customers what they should do next with a call to action button.
You can, for example, grant them access to the product.
Once you have done all of this, you are good to go. You can however, configure your marketing data at once if you wish.
You don’t need to change the settings. But if you want a customized setting you can go ahead and change the values in the fields with any name you desire following the example above.
Save these settings once you’re done editing them. The Save button is located at the top-right corner of the page.
Next, move to Integration menu tab. There is a wide range of integration options.
You need to make sure you have the integration set up now, so it doesn’t take you too long to add new products.
Let’s start with integrating our email autoresponder software. To add an Email Service, click on “+ Add New”.
Select the one that is most applicable to you. You can click the link if you have signed up for AWeberor MailChimp and follow the instructions to integrate.
Let’s say that MailChimp was your preferred autoresponder for this example.
You can edit the integration details by selecting MailChimp in the drop-down menu. Add the integration label to your API key.
You can enter any name you desire for your label. You will use this name to identify your integration, in the event that you decide to use it. It’s best to name it something descriptive. MailChimp Integration, I will call mine. Samcart Ryan Moran
You will then need to log in to your MailChimp email account in order for your API key. Log into Mailchimp.com by entering your username & password.
Once you have successfully logged into your MailChimp Account, go to the Extras Menu. There you will find API keys in a drop-down menu.
Click the Create a Key button. The API key will be generated automatically. You don’t need to do anything.
Copy it and paste into your SamCart integration setup.
That’s all there is.
The process may be slightly different if you want to also integrate with another platform.
To integrate with Aweber, for example, you don’t need to manually go to your dashboard to get your API key. The system will allow you to log in and complete the integration.

These are typically the two methods that integrate in many cases.
A membership site is one example of a product you might consider integrating with.
Scroll down the integration page until you find the Membership link.
Click on “+ Add New”
The page will then appear as follows:
Select the membership platform you want to use for your product and click on Add Integration.
I can continue to input the information and click on “Integrate” Your dashboard has all the information. Log in to OptimizeMember Dashboard to view them.
Next, customize your email settings. To access this functionality, click on the Email Tab.
a Email Footer – Here you can edit your footer details, which will be included in all emails you send from your dashboard.
Once you click it, a popup box will show up for you to edit.

You can edit it by clicking on the Edit link.
What happens when processes fail? These are the Dunning Emails, which you use to send emails to customers when processes fail.
c). Dunning Emails
After editing your emails are complete, you can add custom field if you would like. If you would like to add custom fields to your checkout page please click the CUSTOM FIELD tab.
Custom Fields Click on the + Create New button to add a field.
A pop-up will appear.
Enter the name(s) of the fields you would like to add. However, your customer won’t be able to see the internal field names. Instead, the customer will see the check out label as the field name.
A drop-down menu of items will appear when the mouse is pressed on the field. For a drop down list, the customer is limited to selecting one item.
A checkbox will contain several items that a user can choose from. The customer can decide to choose all of them or choose just one out of all of them.
This is just one item.
Once you are done, click on Save.
You can add as many as possible. But let me warn you, customers hate long forms. Be brief.
They will most likely abandon the cart. As I mentioned earlier, two thirds of customers abandon their shopping cart.
Don’t add another reason for them to leave. Research shows that 27% of shoppers abandon shopping carts due to it being too complicated or long. Samcart Ryan Moran

Simply enter their email address into the Enter email field, and then click on Add New. They’ll receive an email to accept your request. Once they do, they should be able to login as an administrator, too.
You’re done with Step 1 in the setup process.
Next, let’s get to Step 2
Step 2 Connect a Processor
If you have not been following this tutorial, please go back and open the previous tab. Connect a payment processor so you can receive payments. Click on the Add payment processor button.
You’ll be taken to the Settings once again and in the integration tab. Where you can find the payment integration option.
To add a payment processing processor, click the big ADD NEW button in the top right corner.
SamCart now integrates with Stripe and Paypal.
A page will appear once you click the Create New button.
Click on Stripe or Paypal. Click on Stripe to open this page and log in with your credentials.

Fill in the form and you should be ready to go. You must ensure that Stripe accepts payments from your country.
You can add both payment options for customers if you choose. Customers can choose the preferred payment processor.
Let’s go on to the next stage:
Step 3: Create a Product
Now, return to your dashboard. Return to your dashboard. This is the most interesting part.
Click on this button to open the next page
Click on the +New Product button.
This page allows you to update product information. Enter the name, price, and description of your product. Also, choose whether you want a one-time or recurring payment.
A product such as an ebook will likely only be available for one-time payments. However, a product such a membership or online course will likely require a recurring option.
Once you have entered the product information you may need to update the next page.
The settings are located at the top of the menu.
Let’s begin by uploading the product photo. Upload your product image. The image that will show up like this one one SamCart checkout page:
Enter a webpage address your customers will be taken to when they complete their purchase on your checkout page. Most people will have a page like yourdomain.com/thankyou.html Next enter the product type are you selling a digital product or physical product?
If it’s a digital product, you have the option to upload it immediately. If it isn’t a digital product, however, you can ignore that option. Samcart Ryan Moran
Final note: If you are going to use coupon codes for marketing purposes, you can enable this option.
Once you enable it, you’ll be able to add coupons people can use to buy your product at a discounted price.
Click on the Add New Coupon button, a pop up will show up with the following information:
Coupon codes are a great way for businesses to get more customers. Discounts are very popular with customers.
They’ll say, maybe, it might become extremely expensive in the future when they might need it and might not have the cash to buy at that time.
So they’ll probably want to purchase. Coupon code marketing is a fantastic strategy. Samcart Ryan Moran
Setup the coupon code: Select a code to use for your coupon code. Also, choose whether it will be a one-time or recurring coupon code. Select the option that best describes your product or service.
Please note that couponing is optional.
Let’s now get to the checkout page design.
Click on the Checkout Design tab to choose from 18 templates at this time. Any one of these templates can be chosen to suit your brand.
To customize the design, scroll down. You will find many options to customize the design to suit your brand’s voice.
Start by customizing the colors.
You can select from predefined color codes and create your own. It also has a color selector, so you can choose the color you desire without worrying about the color codes.
You can alter the colors of your header, footer and background as well as the buttons.
Next, you’ll need to add some fields, including custom fields. If you remember the “school”, we can also add this to your product page. Make sure you check all fields that should be visible on your checkout page.
You can move on to the next settings your product’s guarantee settings. Which guarantee do you offer your customers? Do you offer a 30-day money-back guarantee? Samcart Ryan Moran
This setting is available here. SamCart, like I mentioned earlier, is designed to encourage conversion. All of these features are features that encourage conversion.
You can add bullet points to the Checkout page by clicking on +Add Bullet.
Once everything is set up, you can start adding your terms & conditions. Turn in on.
Before a customer can buy your product, they must agree to your terms.
Remember to include a URL that points to your Terms and Conditions content.
This link will appear at the bottom on the page. Next, you need to add the payment processor. Do not worry about repeating the steps in step 2.
Click on the payment tab to switch the active payment options.

But if you’ve integrated Stripe, you’ll find it active and you can turn it on as well.
It is possible to add a second payment processor. This is only for merchants that want to add a second product. Click on the dropdown menu to choose an item. Samcart Ryan Moran
You would like to add an extra product. To edit the upsell option, click on the Upsell tab. Here is an example of how your upsell product will look like:
It should be something that your customers can add in their shopping cart to go with the product.
To edit your Upsells, click on the UpSells tab and edit it. To add a product, you will need to have created it just as we did for the belly fat product. So you just need to click and add it.
It’s possible to add upsell funnels here if you have created one. We’ll be discussing the upsell channel later in this article.
Next, let’s look at integration.
Click the Integration tab
You’ll be able to see our MailChimp integration in the drop down list.
From the drop-down menu, you can select which customer list to add or remove from after a purchase.

Once approved, they’ll receive their login information Email, password, URL, where they can access and promote your products.
You can also activate automatic approval via your Affiliate dashboard, even if they are still pending.
Scroll down to the bottom and click on Auto Approval.
So instead of receiving email notifications that they’re application is pending approval, they’ll automatically be approved. Their login details will be sent to them immediately and they’ll be logged in automatically to their dashboard.

How long do you think it will take for someone who clicks on your links to register but doesn’t actually purchase anything to be considered as an affiliate referral?
Example: If I click your affiliate link and then return to your checkout pages after 30 days, can I still be considered your referee?

Once everything is set up, click the share button at top left of your dashboard to get the code for your website.
That’s it. This is how the code should look on your website.
