Create an account

Step 1 Edit Settings
Click on the Edit settings button, and the page you want to edit will be displayed in a brand new tab. Do not worry, the page will be automatically taken to.
Let’s go through it step-by-step.
The Edit page is divided into 5 sections. The General tab allows you to edit a variety of options, including your cart logo and your content URL parameters.
Let’s find out what we can do with these fields.
i. Marketplace Name. The Marketplace name can be changed at any time.
If you feel it wasn’t correct, you can still make changes to it.
The next step is to choose a default country to display on your checkout pages. However, your customers have the option to change this at any time.

This is important since if you add a product expired date, your date/time and time will be calculated based off the timezone you specified. You can tell your customers the timezone you are using.
iii). Support Contact: You will need to enter your support contact email in this field. Add an email address so customers can easily reach you.
Any email can be added. However, it’s better to add a business email address, for example, [email protected]
iv). Currency: Please note that after you register, you can’t change the currency. So at this point, you can’t change your currency.

You should now be able to move forward. But if you need to quickly configure your marketing analytics, you can do this as well.
You don’t have any need to alter the settings. But if you want a customized setting you can go ahead and change the values in the fields with any name you desire following the example above.
Save the settings after you have finished editing. The Save button is located at the top-right corner of the page.

Let’s first integrate our email autoresponder program. To add an email address service, click the + Add New button.
Select the one which applies to you. You can click the link if you have signed up for AWeberor MailChimp and follow the instructions to integrate.
Let’s pretend that MailChimp is the autoresponder of your choice in this example.
Select MailChimp from drop-down menu to edit integration details. Input your API key and add the integration label.

You will then need to log in to your MailChimp email account in order for your API key. Log in with your username/password to Mailchimp.com
After you login successfully to MailChimp, navigate the Extras menu. API keys will be found in the drop down list.
Click on Create a Key to get your API key generated automatically. You don’t need to do anything.
Copy the code and paste it into your SamCart integration configuration.
That’s all there is.
The process may be slightly different if you want to also integrate with another platform.
You don’t have the need to go to your dashboard and get your API keys manually to integrate with Aweber. Instead, the system allows you to login to complete the integration.

These are often the two most common ways in which integration processes work in many situations.
You might want to integrate your product with a membership website if it is.
Scroll down the integration page until you find the Membership link.
Click on + Add New.
This page will be displayed:
Click on Add Integration to select the membership platform you wish to use for your product.
You can proceed to enter the information and then click the button for integration. All the required information is in your dashboard. Log into your OptimizeMember dashboard to get them.
Next, customize your email settings. Click on the Email tab.
a Email Footer Editable: Here you can modify the footer details for every email that you send from dashboard. You can do this either automatically or manually.
Once you click it, a popup box will show up for you to edit.

You can edit it by clicking on the Edit link.
What about when processes go sour? These are where you will set the email messages that customers receive when processes fail.

You can edit your emails and add custom fields, if you want. If you wish to add customized fields on your checkout page, this is the place to do it.
Custom Fields Click on the + Create New button to add a field.
A pop-up will appear.
Enter the name of the fields you want to add, the internal field name won’t be seen by your customer but the check out page label will be shown to the customer as the field name.
You will see a list with all the items you have selected when you click on it. The customer can only select one item from a drop-down menu.
A checkbox contains several items that a customer can choose from. The customer can decide to choose all of them or choose just one out of all of them.
However, this is only a one-item checkbox.
Click Save when you are done.
As many as possible can be added. But let me warn you, customers hate long forms. Make sure your form is not too long.
It’s likely they will abandon it. As I said, about 2/3 of all customers will abandon their shopping cart.

Please, keep it simple.
Enter their email address and click on “Add New”. They’ll receive an email to accept your request. Once they have accepted your request, they’ll be able to log in as an administrator.
This completes Step 1 of the setup process.

Step 2: Connect a Processor
If you have not been following this tutorial, please go back and open the previous tab. Connect a payment processor so you can receive payments. Click on “Add Payment Processor”
The Settings tab will open again. You will find the payment integration option here.
To add a payment processor, click on the big ADD NEW button or the +Add New Button by the top right corner of the page.
SamCart now integrates with Stripe and Paypal.
Once you click on the Create New button, a page will pop up showing this:
Click on Stripe or Paypal. Click on Stripe to open this page and log in with your credentials.

You can start by filling out the form. Verify that your country is listed in Stripe’s accepted countries.
It would be great if you could offer both payment options to your customers. Customers have the option to choose their preferred payment processor.
Next, let’s move to the next step:
Step 3 Create a Product
Return to your dashboard. From where you were redirected to the Payment processor page. Here’s the fun part: click on the Add first Product Button.
Click on this button to open the next page
Click on “+New Product”.
This page will be available for you to add product information. Enter the product name and price. Select whether you’d like it to be a onetime payment or a recurring.
A product like an ebook will most likely be a one time payment type of product, however, a product such as a membership or an online course will most likely require a recurring payment option.
After you have added the product information, it is possible that you will need to provide additional information on the next page.
You can see that at the top menu, they’re other settings you can make to complete your check out.
Let’s start with the product picture. Upload your product image. The image you upload will look exactly like the one on SamCart’s checkout page.
Enter the address of the website your customers will see when they click on your checkout button. Most people will have a page like yourdomain.com/thankyou.html Next enter the product type are you selling a digital product or physical product?
If it is a digital product you can upload it immediately. If it isn’t a digital product, however, you can ignore that option. Samcart Prospects Report
Finally, for this stage, if you’re going to use coupons for marketing, you can enable the coupon code option.
Once you enable it, you’ll be able to add coupons people can use to buy your product at a discounted price.
Click on the Add New Coupon button, a pop up will show up with the following information:
Coupon codes are a great way for businesses to get more customers. Discounts are a favorite with customers. Just think, some customers will buy things they don’t need because it’s cheap.
They’ll tell you that it might get very expensive in future, and they might not have enough money at that time.

Complete the coupon code setup: Choose a code for your coupon code, set the duration will it be a one-time coupon or a recurring coupon code? Choose the option that best describes what you want to offer your customers.

Click on Checkout Design to open a selection of over 18 templates. Any one of these templates can be chosen to suit your brand.
To customize the design, scroll down. There are many settings that you can modify to make the design more consistent with your brand’s voice.
Start by customizing colors.
You can choose from the pre-defined colors or make your own. It has a colour picker that allows you to pick the color you wish without having to remember the color codes.

If you paste the link to the signup page into the browser, you’ll find something similar to this with your product name.
Affiliates can register with that link to start promoting your products. Once your affiliates have created an Account, they will be notified by email that their application was approved.

Once approved, they’ll be sent their login details Email, password, login URL where they can access their accounts and everything they require to start promoting your products.
However, if you don’t want to keep them pending, you can activate automatic approval in your Affiliate dashboard.
Scroll to the bottom of your affiliate dashboard to edit these settings. You’ll see a slide called “Auto Approval” that you can toggle off or on:
So instead of receiving email notifications that they’re application is pending approval, they’ll automatically be approved. They will receive their login details immediately. Once they log in to their dashboard, they’ll automatically be approved.

How long will you wait for someone who clicked your affiliate links but didn’t buy the first time to become an affiliate referee when they register?

Once everything is set up, click the share button at top left of your dashboard to get the code for your website.
