Let’s dive into the details of how to do it.

Create an account

It is easy to create a SamCart Account. Log into SamCart.com to create an account.

The pricing page will redirect you to the plan selection page.

The initial payment is not necessary before you try the product. When you click on any one of the plans you will be taken straight to the checkout page.

During the 14-day free trial period, there will be no charges for you to use the product. Remember that you have the right to cancel your subscription at any time during the trial period.

Once you place your order, you’ll be taken on a signup webpage.

Your marketplace will be created. A form similar to the one shown below will appear.

Complete the form, and click “Create Marketplace” once you are done.

Next is creating a checkout webpage. Here’s an example of what your SamCart dashboard might look like:

This is how you can create your checkout page in just 3 steps.

Step 1 Edit Settings

The Edit Settings button will open a new tab. You’ll automatically be taken to the page.

Let’s take it step by step.

The Edit page is divided into 5 sections. You can edit many options in the General tab. These include your cart logo, your content URL parameters and more.

Let’s find out what we can do with these fields.

i Marketplace Name. You can always change your Marketplace name.

You can always edit it if that was not accurate.

Then you can select a country to show as the default on your checkout page, and of course, your customers can always change it to whatever country they are in.

ii). Time Zone: This allows you to choose the Time Zone in which your cart will function. Samcart Llc

This is important because if you add a product expiry date, your date and time will be counting based on the time zone you specified and you can let your customers know the time zone you’re using.

iii). Support Contact: You will need to enter your support contact email in this field. Add an email address so customers can easily reach you.

You can add any email of your choice. However, it’s better to add a business email address, for example, [email protected]

iv). Currency: It’s also important to note that you won’t be able to change your currency after you set it during registration. At this point, your currency cannot be changed.

You may change your SamCart account by contacting our support team.

v Embed HTML/Scripts field: If you are a little tech-savvy and want to add any HTML or JavaScript code to your checkout page, you can add your code in the Embed HTML/Scripts field.

You don’t need any other settings for that to work. It should work right out the box. Samcart Llc

vi You can also choose where you want your customers to go after they have completed their purchase. Do you want them to redirect to the original redirect URL or you want to display a summary page with redirect links It’s up to you.

The Redirect Link Button text allows you to tell your customers what to do next by using a call-to-action button.

You can, for example, grant them access to the product.

You should now be able to move forward. You can however, configure your marketing data at once if you wish.

The settings can be left as they are. You don’t have to make any changes. If you prefer a custom setting, you can modify the fields using any name you like following the example.

After you are done editing the settings, please save them. The Save button appears in the top left corner of your page.

Next, you can move to the Integration menu tab: There are a bunch of integrations options there.

You should set up the integration as soon as possible so that it is not necessary to do this each time you sell a new product.

Let’s start with integrating our email autoresponder software. Click on the + Add New button to add an email service.

Pick the one that best suits you. Click on the icon if you’ve already signed up with AWeberor MailChimp to proceed with integration.

Let’s pretend that MailChimp is the autoresponder of your choice in this example.

Modify the integration details for MailChimp if you have selected it from the dropdown menu. Add the integration label and input your API key.

For your label, you can use any name that you like. That’s what you’ll use to identify this integration in case you want to use it. It’s best to name it something descriptive. I’ll name mine MailChimp Integration. Samcart Llc

Then log into your MailChimp account to get your API key. Go to Mailchimp.com and log in with your username and password.

Once you login successfully into your MailChimp account navigate to the Extras menu and you’ll find API keys in the drop-down list.

Click the Create a Key button. The API key will be generated automatically. It’s that easy!

Copy it and paste it in your SamCart integration setup.

That’s it.

You might also need to integrate another platform. This process could be slightly different.

You don’t have the need to go to your dashboard and get your API keys manually to integrate with Aweber. Instead, the system allows you to login to complete the integration.

Here’s one example:

These are often the two most common ways in which integration processes work in many situations.

A membership site is one example of a product you might consider integrating with.

Scroll down until you find the link to join.

Click on “+ Add New”

This page will be displayed:

Select the membership platform you want to use for your product and click on Add Integration.

You can enter all the details and click on the “integrate” button. Your dashboard has all the information. Log in to OptimizeMember Dashboard to view them.

Next, customize the email settings. To access this functionality click on the Email tab Some of the settings you can edit include:

a). Email Footer – Here you can edit your footer details, which will be included in all emails you send from your dashboard.

Once you click it, a popup box will show up for you to edit.

Next, you need to create emails that will always remain the same for every customer for certain events. Samcart Llc

If a customer has an order that is cancelled, it will be refunded.

b Emails that can be customized

You can edit it by clicking on the Edit link.

What about when processes go sour? These are the Dunning Emails, which you use to send emails to customers when processes fail.

c Email Dunning:

After you’re done editing your email, you can add custom fields if desired. You can add customized fields to your checkout pages by clicking the CUSTOMFIELDS tab.

Custom Fields Click the + New Button to Add a Field

A pop up will appear.

Enter the names of fields you wish to add. While the customer won’t see the inner field name, the customer’s check out page label will show it as the field title.

A drop-down list of items appears when you click the field. A drop-down list allows the customer to choose only one item.

A checkbox contains several items that a customer can choose from. Customers have the option to choose from all of them (or just one)

It is a checkbox for one item.

After you’re done, click Save.

As many as you like. You should be aware that customers dislike long forms. Do not make your form too long.

They’ll likely abandon it. As I have said before, 2/3 of customers will abandon shopping carts.

Do not give them another reason to leave. One of the main reasons 27% customers abandon shopping carts is that it is too complicated. Samcart Llc

Keep it simple.

Enter their email address in Enter email and click on the Add New button. You will receive an email inviting them to accept your request. Once they accept the request, they should also be able register as an administrator.

You’re done with Step 1 in the setup process.

Next, let’s move on to Step 2

Step 2: Connect to a Processor

If you have not been following this tutorial, please go back and open the previous tab. To receive payments, connect a payment processor. Click the Add Payment Processor button.

Once again, you’ll be taken back to the Settings and the Integration tab. You will find the payment integration option here.

Click on the big ADD New button or the +Add new Button in the upper right corner of the page to add a payment processor.

SamCart now integrates with Stripe and Paypal.

A page will appear once you click the Create New button.

Click on either Paypal or Stripe. If you click on Stripe, this page will show up for you to login your credentials.

Fill in the form and you should be ready to go. Make sure your country is the list of countries that accept Stripe payments.

It would be great if you could offer both payment options to your customers. Customers can choose the preferred payment processor.

Let’s now move on to the next step.

Step 3: Create a Product

Now go back to your dashboard. Return to your dashboard. Here’s the fun part: click on the Add first Product Button.

Once you click on that button, you should see the following page:

Click on the +New Products button.

This page allows you to update product information. You will need to enter the product name, description, and price. Choose whether the payment will be one-time or recurring.

A product such as an ebook will likely only be available for one-time payments. However, a product such a membership or online course will likely require a recurring option.

Once you have entered the product information you may need to update the next page.

You can see that at the top menu, they’re other settings you can make to complete your check out.

Let’s start with the product picture. Upload your product image. This image will appear on the SamCart checkout page.

Enter the address of the website your customers will see when they click on your checkout button. Most people will have a page like yourdomain.com/thankyou.html Next enter the product type are you selling a digital product or physical product?

If it’s a digital product, you have the option to upload it immediately. You can ignore this option if the product is not digital. Samcart Llc

Final note: If you are going to use coupon codes for marketing purposes, you can enable this option.

It’s possible to create coupons for people to buy your product at reduced prices once you enable it.

Click on the Add New Coupon button. A popup window will open with the following information.

Using coupon codes is a great way to generate more customers for your business. Discounts are loved by customers. Some customers might even buy products they don’t need because of the discount.

They’ll admit that it might become expensive later and may not be able to afford it.

This will make them more likely to want to buy. Coupon code marketing is a great strategy. Samcart Llc

Setup the coupon code: Select a code to use for your coupon code. Also, choose whether it will be a one-time or recurring coupon code. Choose the one that best describes what your customer wants.

Not to mention, adding a coupon can be completely optional.

Let’s move on to the checkout pages design.

Click on Checkout Design to open a selection of over 18 templates. Any of them can be customized to your brand.

Scroll down for more options. There are many settings you can adjust to make your brand voice heard.

Start by customizing colors.

You can either choose from pre-defined color codes, or you can create your own. The best thing about it is that you can use the color picker to choose the color you want, without having to worry about the code.

You can change the color for your header, footer, background and headline as well.

Next, you will need to add fields. This includes your custom fields. We also have the “school”, which we previously created, that we can add to your product pages. You can check the fields that you wish to make active on your checkout pages.

You can move on to the next settings your product’s guarantee settings. What guarantee are your customers getting? Are you offering a 30 days money back guarantee? Samcart Llc

This setting can be added here. SamCart was built with conversions in mind. All of these features are features that encourage conversion.

You can use the +Add Bullet button to add more points as bullet points to your Checkout page.

Once everything is set up, you can start adding your terms & conditions. Now, turn it on.

When you turn it on, customers must agree to your terms before they can purchase your product.

Have in mind that you’ll provide a URL where your terms and condition content is hosted.

The link is located at bottom of the page. It will include the hyperlink “Terms, Conditions”. Next you will need to add payment processors for your checkout page. It’s not necessary to repeat the steps that you did in step 2.

Just click on the Payments tab and turn the Payment options that are active on.

Only PayPal is active in my case because I have only integrated PayPal to this review. Samcart Llc

If Stripe is integrated, you will find it active. You can also turn it on.

You can also add a secondary payment processing processor. This is only for merchants that want to add a second product. Click on the dropdown menu to choose an item. Samcart Llc

You wish to add an additional product. Click on the Upsell Tab to edit the Upsell option. Here is an example of how your upsell product will look like:

It should be an item that customers can add to their shopping basket to compliment the product.

Click on the UpSells button to modify your Upsells. To add a product, you will need to have created it just as we did for the belly fat product. Click and then add the product.

It’s possible to add upsell funnels here if you have created one. We’ll be discussing the upsell channel later in this article.

Let’s move on to the next part of the process, which is creating our product checkout pages and then integrating them.

Click on Integration tab

Our MailChimp integration will be visible in the drop-down menu.

The drop-down menu lets you choose which customer list you wish to add after a purchase, refund or to remove after purchase.

This will enable your to segment your customers to send better marketing emails to the right people at the right time. Samcart Llc

You will also notice that there is no member integration. It’s entirely optional.

However, if you have a product that requires membership, make sure to integrate your membership portal using this method.

The last section is the Advanced section:

If you think you’re a rockstar but want to make your checkout page stand out, you can do this here. You can add HTML code or scripts in your checkout page header.

You can include one important script in your Facebook pixel or Google Analytics scripts to help you obtain more data to improve marketing.

Log in to SamCart. Click on the upsell dropdown menu. Choose UPSELLS.

The upsell page will now appear.

Click on +ADDNEW UPSELL to start creating your upsell.

To fill out your upsell details, a popup will appear.

Enter the product you want to upsell to your customers and the details. Once you’re done, click on the Create Upsell button. Once you are done, you’ll go to a page that allows for customization of your upsell details. Samcart Llc

You can now add a video to increase conversion. There are many other settings that you can adjust here to improve your chances of selling to your customers.

Once you’re done filling out the form, enable and save the settings.

You’re done! Each time you want to create a new product you can easily add it to your product.

Affiliate marketing, in simplest terms, is the act of promoting products or companies to earn a commission.

It all happens within the SamCart affiliated center. Before your affiliates can promote your products, they need to sign up for the affiliate program.

As a SamCart customer, you already have an affiliate signup page where people can sign-up to become your affiliates.

To access this page, log in to your dashboard.

And once the page is fully loaded, scroll down the page until you find the fields where your affiliates will login and a place where they’ll sign up.

If you place the signup link in the browser, you will see something similar but with your product title.

Affiliates can register with that link to start promoting your products. After your affiliates have created an account, they will be notified that the registration was successful and that their application has been approved.

Once they have been approved, they will receive their login details Email, password and URL. From there, they can access the accounts and all they need to promote your products.

If you do not want to have them pending you can activate automatic approbation in your Affiliate Dashboard.

To edit this settings, scroll down to the bottom of your affiliate dashboard and you’ll find a slide named Auto Approval you can toggle on or off:

So instead of receiving email notifications that they’re application is pending approval, they’ll automatically be approved. They will receive their login details immediately. Once they log in to their dashboard, they’ll automatically be approved.

Here is how your affiliates dashboards will look like when they login:

How long will you wait for someone who clicked your affiliate links but didn’t buy the first time to become an affiliate referee when they register?

You can ask, for example, that if I click on your link and go to your checkout page within 30 days to make a payment, will my referral status be maintained?

This setting can be modified as well:

In your affiliate dashboard, scroll down to the point where you’ll find the Cookie Expiration option. Enter the number of days you want it to last.

The following example shows that if someone clicks on an associate link and buys your product within 30 days, it will be recorded for your affiliates.

After selecting the Sales Letter Popup template, remember to save your settings.

Then scroll down further and edit the settings for the Sales Letter Popup template.

Once you have everything set up click the share button in the top-left corner of your dashboard. This will give you the code to add to your website.

This is it. This is the code you should enter on your website.
