It’s very easy to create an SamCart account. Log into the website SamCart.com and click on the obvious ‘TRY IT FREE’ button.
You’ll then be redirected the pricing page to choose the plan that you wish to test.
The initial payment is not necessary before you try the product. You’ll be taken directly to the checkout page after you click on one of the plans.
During the 14 day trial, the product will not be charged to your credit card. You can cancel your subscription anytime during the 14-day trial period.
You’ll be taken directly to a signup page once you have placed your order.
Then you will need to create your marketplace. A form similar to the one shown below will appear.
Complete the form, and click “Create Marketplace” once you are done.

Next, you will need to create a checkout site. Here is an example of how SamCart’s dashboard will look:
As you can see, it takes only three steps to create your checkout pages.
Step 1 Edit Settings
You can click the Edit Settings button to open the page you wish to edit in a new tab. You’ll automatically be taken to the page.
Let’s do it step by step.
The Edit page can be divided into five sections. You can edit the General tab to change a lot of things, such as your cart logo or your content URL parameters.
Let’s take a look at what you can do in these fields.
i. Marketplace Name. You can always change your Marketplace name.
You can always edit it if that was not accurate.
The next step is to choose a default country to display on your checkout pages. However, your customers have the option to change this at any time.
ii). Time Zone: This allows you to choose the Time Zone in which your cart will function. Samcart International Translation
This is important, because if your product expiry dates are added, the date and time of your products will be counted based upon the time zone specified. Customers can then know which time zone your company uses.
iii). Support Contact: Here you will add your support email. Add an email address customers can reach you easily.
Any email address you choose can be added. However, it’s better to add a business email address, for example, [email protected]
iv). Currency: It’s also important to note that you won’t be able to change your currency after you set it during registration. After you register, you cannot change your currency.
If you wish to make any changes to it, contact the SamCart support team.

vi Complete purchase: Here you can select the destination your users will go to after making a purchase. The choice of whether they want to be redirected to the original redirect URL, or displayed a summary page containing redirect links is up to them.
And the Redirect Link Button Text allows you to show your customers what they should do next with a call to action button.
For example, they can gain access to your product, download the digital product that they have purchased, and join your premium section.
Once you have done all of this, you are good to go. You can however, configure your marketing data at once if you wish.
You can keep the settings as they are. However, if you wish to create a custom setting, just follow the steps above and replace the names in the fields.
Once you’re finished editing these settings please save them. The Save button is located at the top-right corner of the page.
Next, move to Integration menu tab. There is a wide range of integration options.
It’s important that you set up the integration now so you don’t have to create it each time you want to sell a new product.
Let’s get started with the integration of our email autoresponder software. Click on the + Add New button to add an email service.
Select the one that is most applicable to you. After you have signed up with AWeberor MailChimp you will be able to click on it and then follow the instructions for integration.
Let’s pretend that MailChimp is the autoresponder of your choice in this example.
Edit the integration details if MailChimp is selected from the drop-down menu. Input your API key and add the integration label.
You can enter any name you desire for your label. It’s the name you will use to identify this integration, should you wish to use them. Name it something descriptive. MailChimp Integration will become my MailChimp Integration. Samcart International Translation
You will then need to log in to your MailChimp email account in order for your API key. Log in to Mailchimp.com using your username and password.
After you log in successfully to your MailChimp account, navigate to the Extras menu. You’ll find API keys at the drop-down.
Click the Create a Key button. The API key will be generated automatically. You don’t have to do anything else.
Copy it and paste it in your SamCart integration setup.
This is all there is to it.
You may need to do some modifications if you wish to integrate other platforms.
For example, to integrate with Aweber, you don’t have to go get your API key from your dashboard manually, the system just allows you to login and it completes the integration.

These are usually the two ways the integration processes always work, in many cases.
However, if you have a product that is a member site, it might be a good idea to integrate with a members platform.
Scroll down to find the Membership link.
Click on “+ Add New”
This page will be displayed:
Click on Add Integration to select the membership platform you wish to use for your product.
You can enter all the details and click on the “integrate” button. All necessary information is available in your dashboard. Log in to your OptimizeMember dashboard for all the details.
Next, you can now customize your email settings. To access this functionality, click on the Email Tab.
a). Email Footer: Here you can edit the footer details that will appear in every email you send from your dashboard, either automatically or manually.
Click it to open a popup box that you can edit.
Next, you need to create emails that will always remain the same for every customer for certain events. Samcart International Translation
This could be, for example, when a customer orders are refunded.

To edit the file, click on the Edit button.
What about when processes go sour? These are the Dunning Emails, which you use to send emails to customers when processes fail.

You can edit your emails and add custom fields, if you want. In case you want to add some customized fields to your checkout page, here is where to do it in the CUSTOM FIELDS tab.
To add custom fields, click on the + Create New button.
A pop-up will appear.
Enter the names of fields you wish to add. While the customer won’t see the inner field name, the customer’s check out page label will show it as the field title.
A list of items that appear when you click on the field. A drop-down list allows the customer to choose only one item.
A checkbox will have several options that a user has the option to choose from. Customers can choose to pick all or one of the items in a checkbox.
This is just one item.
Click Save when you are done.
You can add as many as possible. However, long forms are not liked by customers. Do not make your form too long.
They’ll most likely abandon it. As I said, about 2/3 of all customers will abandon their shopping cart.
You shouldn’t give customers another reason to abandon your site. As one of the reasons 27% of customers in the research say they leave a shopping cart is because it’s too long and complicated. Samcart International Translation
Please, be simple.
Just enter their email address in the Enter email field and click on Add New. Once they accept your request, you will be sent an email. They will receive an email to accept your request. Once that happens, they will also be able log in as an administrator.
You’re done with Step 1 in the setup process.
Next, let’s move on to Step 2
Step 2: Connect a Processor
If you have been following the tutorial, go back to the previous tab. Connect a payment processor so you can receive payments. Click on the Add payment processor button.
You’ll be taken to the Settings once again and in the integration tab. Where you can find the payment integration option.
Click on the big ADD New button or the +Add new Button in the upper right corner of the page to add a payment processor.
SamCart currently integrates with Stripe, Paypal, and Stripe as of the time this writing.
Once you click on the Create New button, a page will pop up showing this:
Click on Stripe and Paypal. You can login to Stripe by clicking on Stripe if you click Stripe.

Complete the form and you’ll be good to go. Check that your country is on the Stripe payment list.
If you’re willing to offer two payment options to customers, it will be a nice touch. Customers can choose which payment processor they prefer.
Let’s now move on to the next step.
Step 3: Create a product
Return to your dashboard. Return to your dashboard. This is the most interesting part.
Click on this button to open the next page
Click the button “+New Product”
This page is available to you for adding new product information. Enter the product name and price. Choose whether the payment will be one-time or recurring.
An ebook product will be a one-time payment product. However, an online course or membership will require a recurring payment option.
You might need additional information after you’ve added product information.
You can see that at the top menu, they’re other settings you can make to complete your check out.
Let’s begin with the product image. Upload your product image. The image you upload will look exactly like the one on SamCart’s checkout page.
You can enter the URL of the webpage your customers will visit when they make their purchase from your checkout page. Most people will have a page like yourdomain.com/thankyou.html Next enter the product type are you selling a digital product or physical product?
If it is a digital product you can upload it immediately. If it’s not a product in digital format, you have the option to ignore that option. Samcart International Translation
You can also enable the coupon code option for this stage if you plan to use coupons in marketing.
After you enable it you can add coupons that people can use for your product at a discount price.
Click on the button to Add New Coupon. A pop-up will appear with the following information.
Using coupon codes is a great way to generate more customers for your business. Discounts are very popular with customers.
They’ll tell you that it might get very expensive in future, and they might not have enough money at that time.
So they will likely buy. Coupon code marketing is a fantastic strategy. Samcart International Translation
Setup the coupon code: Select a code to use for your coupon code. Also, choose whether it will be a one-time or recurring coupon code. Select the option that best describes your product or service.
It is entirely optional to add a coupon.
Let’s now get to the checkout page design.
Click on Checkout Design and choose from one of 18 available templates. You can choose the one that best suits your brand.
Scroll down to modify the design. You will find many options to customize the design to suit your brand’s voice.
You can start by customizing the colors.
You have the option to choose from predefined color codes or design your own. The best thing about it is that you can use the color picker to choose the color you want, without having to worry about the code.
You can alter the colors of your header, footer and background as well as the buttons.
Next, you will need to add fields. This includes your custom fields. We also have the “school”, which we previously created, that we can add to your product pages. Check all fields you would like to see on your checkout webpage.

To add more bullet points on your Checkout page, you can use the +Add Bolt button.
After you have completed the setup, you can add your terms and conditions. You can now turn it in.
Before a customer can buy your product, they must agree to your terms.
Have in mind that you’ll provide a URL where your terms and condition content is hosted.
The link will be at the bottom of the page with the hyperlink “Terms and Condition.” Next, you want to add the payment processor for your checkout page. It’s not necessary to repeat the steps that you did in step 2.
Just click on the Payments tab and turn the Payment options that are active on.

If Stripe is integrated, you will find it active. You can also turn it on.
You can add a secondary payment processor as well. This is for merchants looking to add an additional product. Select an item by clicking on the dropdown menu. Samcart International Translation
You wish to add an additional product. Click on the Upsell Tab to edit the Upsell option. This is how an upsell product should look like:
It should be an item that customers can add to their shopping basket to compliment the product.
Edit your Upsells by clicking on the UpSells Tab and editing it. Add a product, note you should have created the product, just like we created the belly fat product. Click and then add the product.
You can also add an upsell funnel to this page if you have one. We’ll talk more on upsell funnel later in this article.
Let’s now look at the next stage in creating our product checkout page, and that’s integration.

You’ll notice that our MailChimp integration is showing up with our list in the drop-down list.
You can choose from the drop-down menu which list you want to add customers to after a purchase or refund and to remove them from after purchase or refund.

You can invite affiliates to register using this link and start promoting your products. Once your affiliates creates an account, they’ll be notified of a successful registration and that their application is pending approval.

Once approved, they’ll receive their login information Email, password, URL, where they can access and promote your products.
However, if you don’t want to keep them pending, you can activate automatic approval in your Affiliate dashboard.
Scroll to the bottom of your affiliate dashboard to edit these settings. You’ll see a slide called “Auto Approval” that you can toggle off or on:
Instead of receiving email notifications about their application being pending approval (which they might be), they will be approved automatically. The login details for the applicant will be sent immediately to them and they will automatically log in to their dashboard.

How long can you stand it when someone clicks on your affiliate links and doesn’t make a purchase?
You can ask, for example, that if I click on your link and go to your checkout page within 30 days to make a payment, will my referral status be maintained?
This setting can be modified as well:
Scroll down on your affiliate dashboard to find the Cookie Expiration button. Enter the number and duration of time you wish it to stay.
