Create an account
It is easy to create a SamCart Account. Log into SamCart.com to create an account.
You’ll be taken to the pricing page. Here you can choose which plan you would like to try.
You’re not required to make any initial payment before trying it out. Click on any of these plans to be taken the checkout page.
During the 14 day trial, the product will not be charged to your credit card. You have 14 days to cancel your subscription.
Once you complete the order you’ll be taken to a signup page.
You will then need to create your market. The form below is the example.
Complete the form, and click “Create Marketplace” once you are done.

Next step is to create a checkout page. Here is an example of how SamCart’s dashboard will look:
This is how you can create your checkout page in just 3 steps.
Step 1 Edit Settings
You can click the Edit Settings button to open the page you wish to edit in a new tab. Be assured that you will automatically be taken there.
Let’s do it step by step.
The Edit page has five sections. You can edit many options in the General tab. These include your cart logo, your content URL parameters and more.
Let’s check out what you can change in these fields:
i). Marketplace Name: The Marketplace name is something you can always change, remember you added it in your signup process, right?
You can still edit it if you think that wasn’t accurate.
Then, you can choose which country will appear as the default for your checkout page. Of course, customers can always change it to another country.
ii). Time Zone: Now you can choose the Time Zone that your cart will work with. Samcart Help
This is important since if you add a product expired date, your date/time and time will be calculated based off the timezone you specified. You can tell your customers the timezone you are using.
iii). Support Contact. In this area, add your support contact email. Add an email customers can contact you with easily.
Any email address can be added. However, it’s better to add a business email address, for example, [email protected]
iv). Currency: It’s also important to note that you won’t be able to change your currency after you set it during registration. At this point, your currency cannot be changed.

vi). Complete purchase: Here you can select the destination your users will go to after making a purchase. The choice of whether they want to be redirected to the original redirect URL, or displayed a summary page containing redirect links is up to them.
With the Redirect Link Button Text, you can tell your customers what next to do with a call for action button.
You could allow them access to the product, let them download the digital product they purchased, or invite them to your premium area.
After you have completed this step, you will be ready to go. But if you need to quickly configure your marketing analytics, you can do this as well.
You can keep the settings as they are. You can customize the settings by changing the names of the fields as shown in the example.
After you are done editing the settings, please save them. The Save button can be found in the upper right corner of this page.
Next, move to Integration menu tab. There is a wide range of integration options.
It is important to set up the integration early so that you don’t have it to do each time you need to sell a product.
Let’s start with integrating our email autoresponder software. To add an additional email service, click “+Add New”
Select the one that is most applicable to you. After you have signed up with AWeberor MailChimp you will be able to click on it and then follow the instructions for integration.
Let’s suppose that MailChimp would be your autoresponder choice in this instance.
You can edit the integration details by selecting MailChimp in the drop-down menu. Input your API key and add the integration label.
For your label, you can use any name that you like. This will be what you use to identify the integration should you choose to. It’s best to name it something descriptive. MailChimp Integration is what I will name it. Samcart Help
To get your API Key, log in to MailChimp. Log in with your username/password to Mailchimp.com
Once you login successfully into your MailChimp account navigate to the Extras menu and you’ll find API keys in the drop-down list.
Click on the Create Key button to generate the API key for you automatically. You don’t have to do anything else.
Copy it and copy it to your SamCart Integration setup.
That’s all there is.
It might take a little longer if you are also looking to integrate another platform.
To integrate with Aweber, for example, you don’t need to manually go to your dashboard to get your API key. The system will allow you to log in and complete the integration.

These are two common ways that integration processes work in many cases.
But if your product is a membership site, you might also want to integrate with a membership platform.
Scroll down the integration page until you find the Membership link.
Click on “+ Add New”
This page will appear:
Select the membership platform you want to use for your product and click on Add Integration.
I can now input the required information and click the Integration button. All necessary information is available in your dashboard. Log in to your OptimizeMember dashboard for all the details.
Next, customize the email settings. This functionality is available by clicking on the Email tab. Some settings that you can edit are:
a Email Footer: Here you can edit the footer details that will appear in every email you send from your dashboard, either automatically or manually.
After clicking it, a popup window will open for you to edit.

You can edit it by clicking on the Edit link.
What about when processes break down? Here is where you set the emails sent to customers when processes fail they are called Dunning Emails.

After editing your emails are complete, you can add custom field if you would like. If you wish to add customized fields on your checkout page, this is the place to do it.
To add custom fields, click on the + Create New button.
Pop ups will appear.
Please enter the names of the fields that you wish to add. The customer won’t see the internal field name, but the check-out page label will.
A drop-down menu of items will appear when the mouse is pressed on the field. A drop-down list allows the customer to choose only one item.
A checkbox can contain multiple items that the user can choose from. You have the option of choosing all of them or one from each.
This is a single-item checkbox.
Click Save when you are done.
You can add as many as possible. But let me warn you, customers hate long forms. Don’t make your form too long.
They will most likely abandon the cart. As I mentioned earlier, two thirds of customers abandon their shopping cart.
Add another reason for them not to return. The research shows that 27% leave shopping carts when they find it too difficult or lengthy. Samcart Help
Keep it simple.
Simply enter their email address into the Enter email field, and then click on Add New. Your request will be accepted by them via email. Once they have accepted your request, they’ll be able to log in as an administrator.
Now you are done with Step 1.
Next, let us move on to step 2:
Step 2: Connect a Processor
If you’ve been following the tutorial closely, go back into the previous tab. Connect a payment processor so you can receive payments. Click on the Add Payment Processor button.
You’ll be taken to the Settings once again and in the integration tab. You will find the payment integration option here.
Click on the big ADD New button or the +Add new Button in the upper right corner of the page to add a payment processor.
SamCart now integrates with Stripe and Paypal.
Click on the Create New button to open a new page.
Click on Stripe and Paypal. Clicking on Stripe will bring up a page for you to log in.

Once you have completed the form, you will be able to start your journey. Check that your country is on the Stripe payment list.
It would be great if you could offer both payment options to your customers. Customers can choose the preferred payment processor.
Let’s next move to the next:
Step 3 Create a Product
Now go back to your dashboard. You will be redirected to Payment processor page. Click on the Add First Product Button this is the interesting part.
Click that button and you’ll see the following page.
Click on the +New Products button.
This page will allow you to enter new product information. Enter the product name and price. Also, choose whether you want a one-time or recurring payment.
An ebook is a type of product that can be purchased once. A membership or online course, on the other hand, will need recurring payments.
After adding the product information to the page, you might need more information on the next page.
The settings are located at the top of the menu.
Let’s begin with the product image. Upload your product image. The image that will show up like this one one SamCart checkout page:
Enter the address of the website your customers will see when they click on your checkout button. Most people will have a page like yourdomain.com/thankyou.html Next enter the product type are you selling a digital product or physical product?
You can upload the product immediately if it is a digital one. However, if it’s not a digital product, you can ignore that option. Samcart Help
You can also enable the coupon code option for this stage if you plan to use coupons in marketing.
You can enable it to allow people to use coupons to purchase your product at a reduced price.
Click on “Add New Coupon” to open a pop-up with the following details:
Using coupon codes is a great way to generate more customers for your business. Discounts are a favorite with customers. Just think, some customers will buy things they don’t need because it’s cheap.
They might say that it could become very expensive in the future and they may not have the money to purchase it at the time.
This will make them more likely to want to buy. Coupon code marketing is a great strategy. Samcart Help
You will need to complete the coupon code setup. Choose a coupon code and set the expiration date. Choose the option that best describes what you want to offer your customers.
Note that adding a coupon is completely optional.
Let’s now move on to the checkout page design.
Click on Checkout Design to open a selection of over 18 templates. You can choose the one that best suits your brand.
Scroll down to customize the design. There are many settings that you can modify to make the design more consistent with your brand’s voice.
You can start by customizing the colors.
You can select from predefined color codes and create your own. It has a colour picker that allows you to pick the color you wish without having to remember the color codes.
You can change the color of the header, footer, background, headline, and your buttons color.
Next, you’ll need to add some fields, including custom fields. If you remember the “school”, we can also add this to your product page. Check all fields you would like to see on your checkout webpage.
Now you can go to the next settings of your product’s warranty settings. Which guarantee do you offer your customers? Are you offering a guarantee of 30 days? Samcart Help
This setting can be added here. SamCart, like I mentioned earlier, is designed to encourage conversion. All of these features are features that encourage conversion.
To add more bullet points, use the +Add Bull button.
Once you set that up completely, you can now move to adding your terms and conditions. Now, turn it on.
When you turn it on, customers must agree to your terms before they can purchase your product.
Keep in mind that your URL will contain the content of your terms and conditions.
The link will be located at the bottom with the hyperlink “Terms And Conditions”. Next, you’ll need to add your payment processor for the checkout page. It’s not necessary to repeat the steps that you did in step 2.
Simply click on the Payments tab, and you can turn on all active Payment options.
In my case, only PayPal is active because I’ve only integrated PayPal for this review. Samcart Help
However, if Stripe has been integrated into your system, it will be active and you can turn the on/off switch.
You can also add another payment processor. This option is for merchants who wish to add a secondary product. Select an item by clicking on the dropdown menu. Samcart Help
You wish to add an additional product. Click on the Upsell tab and edit the option. Here is an example of how your upsell product will look like:
It should be a product your customers add to their cart to complement the product.
Edit your Upsells by clicking on the UpSells Tab and editing it. Add a product, note you should have created the product, just like we created the belly fat product. You just need to click on the Add button.
You can also include an upsell channel if you’ve already created it. This article will discuss more about the upsell funnel.
Next, let’s look at integration.
Click on Integration tab
You’ll notice that our MailChimp integration is showing up with our list in the drop-down list.
You can choose from the drop down menu which customer list you want to include after a sale or refund, and then remove them after purchase.

It’s also important to note that membership integration is not possible.
However, if you have a product that requires membership, make sure to integrate your membership portal using this method.

Here are some instructions if you feel like a rockstar and would like to add some scripts to your checkout page. You can script or HTML codes to your checkout page header or footer.
You can include one important script in your Facebook pixel or Google Analytics scripts to help you obtain more data to improve marketing.

Log in to SamCart. Click on the upsell dropdown menu. Choose UPSELLS.

A pop-up will appear to allow you to fill in the details of your upsell.

To promote your products, affiliates can sign up with this link. After your affiliates have created an account, they will be notified that the registration was successful and that their application has been approved.

Once they have been approved they will receive their login credentials Email, password, login URL. This allows them to access their accounts, as well as everything else they need, in order to promote your products.
You can also activate automatic approval via your Affiliate dashboard, even if they are still pending.
Scroll down to your affiliate dashboard, and you will see a slide called Auto Approval that you can toggle on/off.
So instead of receiving email notifications that they’re application is pending approval, they’ll automatically be approved. They’ll receive their login details right away and will be automatically logged into their dashboard.
Here’s how the dashboards of your affiliates will look once they login.
What will it take for someone who clicked on your affiliate link and didn’t purchase the first time to be considered an affiliate referral?
For example, if I click on your affiliate link and return to your checkout page after 30 days and make a purchase, will I still be regarded as your referral?
This setting can be modified as well:
Scroll down in your affiliate dashboard until you see the Cookie Expiration option. Enter the number and duration of time you wish it to stay.
In the following example, click an affiliate link to purchase your product. It will be recorded and made available for your affiliates.
