You’re not required to make any initial payment before trying it out. Once you click on any of the plans, you’ll be taken to the checkout page.

During the 14 day trial, the product will not be charged to your credit card. You may cancel your subscription within 14 days of the trial.

You’ll be taken directly to a signup page once you have placed your order.

Your marketplace will be created. You’ll see a form like the one below.

Complete the form, and click “Create Marketplace” once you are done.

Next, you will need to create a checkout site. Here is an example of how SamCart’s dashboard will look:

As you can see, it takes only three steps to create your checkout pages.

Step 1: Edit settings

The Edit Settings button will open a new tab. It won’t take long for you to be taken directly to that page.

Let’s go through it step-by-step.

The Edit page is divided in five sections. You can edit the General tab to change a lot of things, such as your cart logo or your content URL parameters.

Let’s find out what we can do with these fields.

i Marketplace Name: The Marketplace name is something you can always change, remember you added it in your signup process, right?

You can still edit it if you think that wasn’t accurate.

The next step is to choose a default country to display on your checkout pages. However, your customers have the option to change this at any time.

ii). Time Zone: Now you can choose the Time Zone that your cart will work with. Samcart Change Upsell

This is important since if you add a product expired date, your date/time and time will be calculated based off the timezone you specified. You can tell your customers the timezone you are using.

iii). Support Contact: Here you will add your support email. Add an email customers can contact you with easily.

Any email address you choose can be added. However, it’s better to add a business email address, for example, [email protected]

iv). Currency: Once you’ve registered your currency, it’s important to remember that you cannot change it. You cannot change your currency after registration.

You can change the SamCart support number if you need to.

v Embed HTML/Scripts field: If you are a little tech-savvy and want to add any HTML or JavaScript code to your checkout page, you can add your code in the Embed HTML/Scripts field.

vi). Purchase completion: In this field, you want to select where your users will be taken to after making a purchase. If you would like them to go back to the original URL, you can display a summary page or include redirect links. It’s your choice.

You can also use the Redirect Link ButtonText to let your customers know what to do next.

You can, for example, grant them access to the product.

Once you’ve done this, you should be okay and ready to go. You can also configure your marketing analytics in one go.

You don’t have any need to alter the settings. If you prefer a custom setting, you can modify the fields using any name you like following the example.

Save these settings once you’re done editing them. The Save button appears in the top left corner of your page.

Next, move to Integration menu tab. There is a wide range of integration options.

You need to make sure you have the integration set up now, so it doesn’t take you too long to add new products.

Let’s first integrate our email autoresponder program. To add an email address service, click the + Add New button.

Pick the one that’s most relevant to you. Once you have registered with AWeberor MailChimp click on it to follow the instructions.

Let’s just assume MailChimp as your autoresponder.

Edit the integration details if MailChimp is selected from the drop-down menu. Input your API key and add the integration label.

Then log into your MailChimp account to get your API key. Log in to Mailchimp.com using your username and password.

After you login successfully to your MailChimp email account, you can go to the Extras menu. Here you’ll find API key drop-down lists.

Click on the Create Key button, and an API key will automatically be generated. The API key will be generated automatically for you.

Copy it, and then paste it into the SamCart integration set-up.

That’s it.

You may need to do some modifications if you wish to integrate other platforms.

You don’t have the need to go to your dashboard and get your API keys manually to integrate with Aweber. Instead, the system allows you to login to complete the integration.

These are the two main ways integration works in most cases.

If your product is a subscription site, you may also wish to integrate with a platform for members.

Scroll down to find the Membership link.

Click on + Add New.

And here’s the page:

Select the membership platform for your product, then click on Add Integration.

You can enter all the details and click on the “integrate” button. All of the necessary information can be found in your dashboard. Log in to OptimizeMember Dashboard to view them.

Next, customize your email settings. This functionality is available by clicking on the Email tab. Some settings that you can edit are:

a Email Footer – Here you can edit your footer details, which will be included in all emails you send from your dashboard.

Click it to open a popup box that you can edit.

You can edit it by clicking on the Edit link.

What about when processes go sour? These are the Dunning Emails, which you use to send emails to customers when processes fail.

Once you are done editing emails, you can add any custom fields you wish. If you would like to add custom fields to your checkout page please click the CUSTOM FIELD tab.

A pop up will show up.

Enter the names of fields you wish to add. While the customer won’t see the inner field name, the customer’s check out page label will show it as the field title.

A drop-down list of items appears when you click the field. Understand that for a drop-down list, the customer can only choose one item.

A checkbox will contain several items that a user can choose from. The customer can decide to choose all of them or choose just one out of all of them.

This is a single-item checkbox.

Click on Save once you are done.

As many as possible can be added. Let me warn you: Customers hate long forms. Do not make your form too long.

They will most likely abandon the cart. As I have said before, 2/3 of customers will abandon shopping carts.

You shouldn’t give customers another reason to abandon your site. One of the main reasons 27% customers abandon shopping carts is that it is too complicated. Samcart Change Upsell

Keep it simple.

Enter their email address below and click Add New. Your request will be accepted by them via email. Once they do, they should be able to login as an administrator, too.

You’re done with Step 1 in the setup process.

Next, let’s move to Step 2:

Step 2: Connect a Processor

If you’ve been following this tutorial, you can go back to the first tab. To receive payments, connect a payment processor. Click on “Add Payment Processor”

The Settings tab will open again. You will find the payment integration option here.

To add a Payment Processor, click the big ADDNE button or +Add New Button at the top of the page.

SamCart currently integrates with Stripe, Paypal, and Stripe as of the time this writing.

A page will appear once you click the Create New button.

Click on either Paypal or Stripe. You can login to Stripe by clicking on Stripe if you click Stripe.

The form is easy to fill out. Check to make sure that your country appears on Stripe payment acceptance lists.

You can add both payment options for customers if you choose. Customers have the option to choose their preferred payment processor.

Let’s go on to the next stage:

Step 3: Create A Product

Now return to your dashboard. From where you were redirected to the Payment processor page. This is the exciting part.

After clicking on the button, you will see the following page.

Click on +New Product.

This page will be available for you to add product information. Enter the product name, price and description. You can also choose whether it will be a one-time payment or recurring.

A product like an ebook will most likely be a one time payment type of product, however, a product such as a membership or an online course will most likely require a recurring payment option.

Once you have entered the product information you may need to update the next page.

You’ll see them in the top menu. There are other settings that you can change to complete your checkout.

Let’s begin with the product image. Upload your product image. The image you upload will look exactly like the one on SamCart’s checkout page.

When customers make a purchase on your checkout page they will be directed to a specific webpage. Most people will have a page like yourdomain.com/thankyou.html Next enter the product type are you selling a digital product or physical product?

If the product is digital you can upload it instantly. However, if it’s not a digital product, you can ignore that option. Samcart Change Upsell

Finally, for this stage, if you’re going to use coupons for marketing, you can enable the coupon code option.

It’s possible to create coupons for people to buy your product at reduced prices once you enable it.

Click on “Add New Coupon” to open a pop-up with the following details:

You can generate more customers by using coupon codes. Customers love discounts. Think about it: Some customers may be able to buy items they don’t even need simply because the price is lower.

They might say that it could become very expensive in the future and they may not have the money to purchase it at the time.

You will need to complete the coupon code setup. Choose a coupon code and set the expiration date. Choose the option that best describes the product you are offering your customers.

Please note that couponing is optional.

Now let’s move to the checkout page design:

Click on Checkout Design and choose from one of 18 available templates. Any of the templates you like can be selected.

Scroll down to personalize the design. There are many settings that you can modify to make the design more consistent with your brand’s voice.

You can begin by customizing the color.

You can select from predefined color codes and create your own. The best thing about it is that you can use the color picker to choose the color you want, without having to worry about the code.

You can change your header color, footer color, background color, headline and buttons color.

Next, add fields. Remember the “school” field that you created earlier? We can add it to your product page. Make sure you check all fields that should be visible on your checkout page.

Before a customer can buy your product, they must agree to your terms.

Keep in mind that your URL will contain the content of your terms and conditions.

This link will appear at the bottom on the page. Next, you need to add the payment processor. Don’t worry, you won’t need to go through the steps you went through in step two again.

Click on the payment tab to switch the active payment options.

However, if Stripe has been integrated into your system, it will be active and you can turn the on/off switch.

You can also add another payment processor. This is a feature that merchants can use to add an alternate product. To select an item, click on the drop-down menu. Samcart Change Upsell

You would like to add an extra product. To edit the upsell option, click on the Upsell tab. Here is an example of how your upsell product will look like:

It should be something that your customers can add in their shopping cart to go with the product.

Click on the UpSells tab to edit your Upsells. Add a product, note you should have created the product, just like we created the belly fat product. Click and then add the product.

You can also add an upsell funnel to this page if you have one. This article will discuss more about the upsell funnel.

Next, let us take a look to the next step of the process: creating the product checkout page. And that’s the integration.

You can choose from the drop down menu which customer list you want to include after a sale or refund, and then remove them after purchase.

Once approved, they’ll be sent their login details Email, password, login URL where they can access their accounts and everything they require to start promoting your products.

If you do not want to have them pending you can activate automatic approbation in your Affiliate Dashboard.

Scroll to the bottom on your affiliate dashboard and find Auto Approval. This slide can be toggled on or off.

Instead of receiving emails advising them that their application is being reviewed, they’ll be approved immediately. They will immediately receive their login information and be logged in to the dashboard.

How long will you wait for someone who clicked your affiliate links but didn’t buy the first time to become an affiliate referee when they register?

Example: If I click your affiliate link and then return to your checkout pages after 30 days, can I still be considered your referee?

You can also add these settings to your account:
