Step 1: Modify Settings
You can click the Edit Settings button to open the page you wish to edit in a new tab. Be assured that you will automatically be taken there.

The Edit page is broken into five sections. You can edit the General tab to change a lot of things, such as your cart logo or your content URL parameters.

i). Marketplace Name: The Marketplace name is something you can always change, remember you added it in your signup process, right?
If you feel it wasn’t correct, you can still make changes to it.
Then you can select a country to show as the default on your checkout page, and of course, your customers can always change it to whatever country they are in.

This is important, because if your product expiry dates are added, the date and time of your products will be counted based upon the time zone specified. Customers can then know which time zone your company uses.
iii). Support Contact. In this area, add your support contact email. Add an email customers can contact you with easily.

iv). Currency: Please note that after you register, you can’t change the currency. At this point, your currency cannot be changed.

Next, log into your MailChimp Account to obtain your API key. Log in to Mailchimp.com with your username, password and email address.
Once you have successfully logged into your MailChimp Account, go to the Extras Menu. There you will find API keys in a drop-down menu.

Copy it and paste it in your SamCart integration setup.
The process may be slightly different if you want to also integrate with another platform.

Next, customize the email settings. Click on the Email tab to access this function. You can modify the following settings:
a Email Footer: This is where you can edit and change the footer information that will appear in every email sent from your dashboard.
Once you click the button, a popup will appear for you to modify.

To edit the file, click on the Edit button.
What happens when processes fail? Here is where you set the emails sent to customers when processes fail they are called Dunning Emails.

You can edit your emails and add custom fields, if you want. You can add customized fields to your checkout pages by clicking the CUSTOMFIELDS tab.
To add custom fields, click on the + Create New button.
A pop up will appear.
Enter the name(s) of the fields you would like to add. However, your customer won’t be able to see the internal field names. Instead, the customer will see the check out label as the field name.
A drop-down list of items appears when you click the field. The customer can only select one item from a drop-down menu.
A checkbox will have several options that a user has the option to choose from. Customers have the option to choose from all of them (or just one)
This is a single item checkbox though.
Once you are done, click on Save.
You can add as many as possible. However, long forms are not liked by customers. Do not make your form too long.
It’s likely they will abandon it. As I mentioned earlier, two thirds of customers abandon their shopping cart.
Do not give them another reason to leave. One of the main reasons 27% customers abandon shopping carts is that it is too complicated. Samcart And Hotmart
Keep it simple.
Enter their email address in Enter email and click on the Add New button. Your request will be accepted by them via email. Once they do, they should be able to login as an administrator, too.
This completes Step 1 of the setup process.
Next, let’s get to Step 2
Step 2: Connect to a Processor
If you’ve been following the tutorial closely, go back into the previous tab. At this point, you want to connect a payment processor to enable you to receive payments. Click on “Add Payment Processor”
Once again, you’ll be taken back to the Settings and the Integration tab. Where you can find the payment integration option.
To add a payment processing processor, click the big ADD NEW button in the top right corner.
As of the time of this writing, SamCart integrates with two payment processors Paypal and Stripe.
When you click on the Create New tab, a page with this information will pop up:
Click on Stripe and Paypal. Clicking on Stripe will bring up a page for you to log in.

You can start by filling out the form. Check that your country is on the Stripe payment list.
If you decide to add the two payment options for your customers, that’ll be nice. Customers have the option to choose their preferred payment processor.
Let’s continue to the next step.
Step 3: Create a Product
Now, return to your dashboard. Now you will be taken to the Payment processor page. The most exciting part is here: Click on the Add First Product button.
Once you click on that button, you should see the following page:
Click the button “+New Product”
This page allows you to update product information. Enter the product name, price and description. And also choose if it’s going to be a one time payment or recurring payment.
A product like an ebook will most likely be a one time payment type of product, however, a product such as a membership or an online course will most likely require a recurring payment option.
Once you add the product information, you might need to add more information in the next page that’ll show up.
The settings are located at the top of the menu.
Let’s start from the product image. Upload your product image. This image will appear on the SamCart checkout page.
Enter the address of the website your customers will see when they click on your checkout button. Most people will have a page like yourdomain.com/thankyou.html Next enter the product type are you selling a digital product or physical product?
If it is a digital product you can upload it immediately. If it isn’t a digital product, however, you can ignore that option. Samcart And Hotmart
Finally, for this stage, if you’re going to use coupons for marketing, you can enable the coupon code option.
When you enable it, people will be able add coupons to your product to get a discount.
Click on the button to Add New Coupon. A pop-up will appear with the following information.
Promo codes can be a great way of generating more customers for your company. Discounts are loved by customers. Some customers might even buy products they don’t need because of the discount.
They might say that it could become very expensive in the future and they may not have the money to purchase it at the time.

You will need to complete the coupon code setup. Choose a coupon code and set the expiration date. Choose the one that best describes what your customer wants.
Note that adding a coupon is completely optional.
Let’s move on to the checkout pages design.
Click on Checkout Design and choose from one of 18 available templates. Any of them can be customized to your brand.
To customize the design, scroll down. There are many settings that you can modify to make the design more consistent with your brand’s voice.
Start by customizing the colors.
You can choose from the pre-defined colors or make your own. The best part is that it has a color picker, you can use this color picker to select the color you want without bothering about the color codes.
You can change the color of the header, footer, background, headline, and your buttons color.
Next, add some fields. Check all the fields you want to be active on your checkout page.

You are adding an upsell product. To edit the upsell option, click on the Upsell tab. Here’s an example of what your upsell product might look like.
It should be an item that customers can add to their shopping basket to compliment the product.

You can also add an upsell funnel to this page if you have one. We’ll be discussing the upsell channel later in this article.
Let’s now look at the next stage in creating our product checkout page, and that’s integration.

You can choose from the drop down menu which customer list you want to include after a sale or refund, and then remove them after purchase.

You can also activate automatic approval via your Affiliate dashboard, even if they are still pending.
Scroll to the bottom on your affiliate dashboard and find Auto Approval. This slide can be toggled on or off.
Instead of receiving email notifications about their application being pending approval (which they might be), they will be approved automatically. They’ll receive their login details right away and will be automatically logged into their dashboard.
