Step 1: Edit settings
The Edit Settings button will open a new tab. You’ll automatically be taken to the page.

The Edit page can be divided into five sections. The General tab allows you to edit a variety of options, including your cart logo and your content URL parameters.

i. Marketplace Name: You can change the Marketplace name at any time. Remember that you added it during your signup process.
You can edit it if it’s not correct.
Then you can select a country to show as the default on your checkout page, and of course, your customers can always change it to whatever country they are in.

iii). Support Contact: Add your support contact email to this field. Add an email address customers can reach you easily.

What about when processes fail? This is where you can set up the emails that are sent to customers when processes fail. They are known as Dunning Emails.

After you’re done editing your email, you can add custom fields if desired. If you would like to add custom fields to your checkout page please click the CUSTOM FIELD tab.
Custom Fields: Click on the + Add New button to create a new field.
A pop-up will be displayed.
Enter the names of fields you wish to add. While the customer won’t see the inner field name, the customer’s check out page label will show it as the field title.
A drop-down list of items appears when you click the field. Understand that for a drop-down list, the customer can only choose one item.
A checkbox can contain multiple items that the user can choose from. The customer can decide to choose all of them or choose just one out of all of them.
This is a single item checkbox though.
After you’re done, click Save.
As many as you like. However, long forms are not liked by customers. Make sure your form is not too long.
They will likely abandon their shopping cart. As I said, about 2/3 of all customers will abandon their shopping cart.

Simply enter their email address into the Enter email field, and then click on Add New. They’ll receive an email to accept your request. Once they accept the request, they should also be able register as an administrator.
You are done with Step one in the setup process.
Next, let’s get to Step 2
Step 2: Connect a Processor
If you’ve been following this tutorial, you can go back to the first tab. Now you will connect a pay processor to allow you to receive payments. Click on the Add payment processor button.
You will then be taken to Settings again. Here you will find the Payment Integration option.
To add a Payment Processor, click the big ADDNE button or +Add New Button at the top of the page.
As of the time of this writing, SamCart integrates with two payment processors Paypal and Stripe.
When you click on the Create New tab, a page with this information will pop up:
Click on Stripe and Paypal. You can login to Stripe by clicking on Stripe if you click Stripe.

Fill in the form and you should be ready to go. Check to make sure that your country appears on Stripe payment acceptance lists.
If you’re willing to offer two payment options to customers, it will be a nice touch. Customers can choose their preferred payment payment processor.

Step 3 Create a Product
Now return to the dashboard. From where you were redirected to the Payment processor page. Here’s the fun part: click on the Add first Product Button.
You should now see the page below after you have clicked on the button.
Click on +New Product.
This page is available to you for adding new product information. Enter the product name, price and description. Also, choose whether you want a one-time or recurring payment.
An ebook is a type of product that can be purchased once. A membership or online course, on the other hand, will need recurring payments.
After you have added the product information, it is possible that you will need to provide additional information on the next page.
You’ll see them in the top menu. There are other settings that you can change to complete your checkout.
Let’s begin with the product image. Upload your product image. The image will appear exactly as this on the SamCart checkout pages:
When your customers complete their order on your checkout page, enter a URL address. Most people will have a page like yourdomain.com/thankyou.html Next enter the product type are you selling a digital product or physical product?
If the product is digital you can upload it instantly. However, if it’s not a digital product, you can ignore that option. Samcart $49
You can also enable the coupon code option for this stage if you plan to use coupons in marketing.
Once you enable it, you’ll be able to add coupons people can use to buy your product at a discounted price.
Click on the button to Add New Coupon. A pop-up will appear with the following information.
Using coupon codes is a great way to generate more customers for your business. Discounts are very popular with customers.
They will say it may become too expensive later on, when they might be in need and don’t have the cash.
This will make them more likely to want to buy. Coupon code marketing is a great strategy. Samcart $49
Complete the coupon code setup: Choose a code for your coupon code, set the duration will it be a one-time coupon or a recurring coupon code? Choose the option that best describes what you want to offer your customers.
Note that adding a coupon is completely optional.
Let’s now move on to the checkout page design.
Click on the Checkout Design tab and then select from more than 18 templates at the time of writing. Any of them can be customized to your brand.
Scroll down for more options. There are many settings you can adjust to make your brand voice heard.
Start by customizing colors.
You can choose the predefined color codes or create your own colors. The best thing about it is that you can use the color picker to choose the color you want, without having to worry about the code.
You can alter the colors of your header, footer and background as well as the buttons.
Next, add fields. Remember the “school” field that you created earlier? We can add it to your product page. Check all fields you would like to see on your checkout webpage.

The link will be located at the bottom with the hyperlink “Terms And Conditions”. Next, you’ll need to add your payment processor for the checkout page. It’s not necessary to repeat the steps that you did in step 2.

Once they have been approved they will receive their login credentials Email, password, login URL. This allows them to access their accounts, as well as everything else they need, in order to promote your products.
However, if you don’t want to keep them pending, you can activate automatic approval in your Affiliate dashboard.
Scroll to the bottom on your affiliate dashboard and find Auto Approval. This slide can be toggled on or off.
Instead of receiving emails advising them that their application is being reviewed, they’ll be approved immediately. They will immediately receive their login information and be logged in to the dashboard.
