Step 1 Edit Settings
Click on the Edit Settings button and the page to edit will appear in a new tab. Don’t worry, you’ll be taken to that page automatically.
Let’s do it step by step.
The Edit page is divided in five sections. In the General tab, you can edit quite a wide range of options from your cart logo to your content URL parameters.
Let’s check out what you can change in these fields:
i. Marketplace Name. You can always change your Marketplace name.
You can edit it if it’s not correct.
Then, you can choose which country will appear as the default for your checkout page. Of course, customers can always change it to another country.

This is important because, if you include a product expiry day, your date/time will be calculated based on your time zone. You can inform your customers about the time zone.
iii). Support Contact. In this area, add your support contact email. Add an email customers can contact you with easily.
You can add any email of your choice. However, it’s better to add a business email address, for example, [email protected]
iv). Currency: Please note that after you register, you can’t change the currency. After you register, you cannot change your currency.
However, if you want to change it, you should be able to do that by contacting the SamCart support team.

vi Purchase completion: In this field, you want to select where your users will be taken to after making a purchase. If you would like them to go back to the original URL, you can display a summary page or include redirect links. It’s your choice.
The Redirect Link Button text allows you to tell your customers what to do next by using a call-to-action button.
For example, they can gain access to your product, download the digital product that they have purchased, and join your premium section.
Once you’ve completed these steps, you should feel confident and ready to go. You can also configure your marketing analytics in one go.

Let’s assume that MailChimp is your autoresponder of choice for this example.
Select MailChimp from drop-down menu to edit integration details. Input your API key and add the integration label.

You will then need to log in to your MailChimp email account in order for your API key. Go to Mailchimp.com and log in with your username and password.
Once you have successfully logged into your MailChimp Account, go to the Extras Menu. There you will find API keys in a drop-down menu.
Click on the Create Key button to generate the API key for you automatically. You don’t need to do anything.
Copy it and paste into your SamCart integration setup.
That’s all there is.
It might take a little longer if you are also looking to integrate another platform.
For example, to integrate with Aweber, you don’t have to go get your API key from your dashboard manually, the system just allows you to login and it completes the integration.

I can now input the required information and click the Integration button. Your dashboard contains all the information you need. Log in to your OptimizeMember dashboard for all the details.
Next, customize your email settings. Click on the Email tab.

What about when processes break down? This is where you can set up the emails that are sent to customers when processes fail. They are known as Dunning Emails.
c). Dunning Emails:
When you are done editing your emails, you can go ahead to add some custom fields if you like. If you would like to add custom fields to your checkout page please click the CUSTOM FIELD tab.
Custom Fields Click the + New Button to Add a Field
A pop-up will appear.
Enter the names of fields you wish to add. While the customer won’t see the inner field name, the customer’s check out page label will show it as the field title.
A drop-down menu of items will appear when the mouse is pressed on the field. Understand that for a drop-down list, the customer can only choose one item.
A checkbox contains several items that a customer can choose from. Customers can choose to pick all or one of the items in a checkbox.
This is a single item checkbox though.
After you’re done, click Save.
You can add as much as you want. I warn you that customers don’t like long forms. Don’t make your form too long.
They’ll likely abandon it. As I mentioned earlier, two thirds of customers abandon their shopping cart.

Keep it simple.
Enter their email address in Enter email and click on the Add New button. Your request will be accepted by them via email. They will receive an email to accept your request. Once that happens, they will also be able log in as an administrator.
You’re done with Step 1 in the setup process.
Next, let’s move to Step 2:
Step 2: Connect to a Processor
If you’ve been following the tutorial closely, go back into the previous tab. You will need to connect a processor in order to receive payments. Click on the Add Payment Processor button.
You will be taken back to Settings. There you’ll find the payment integration choice.
To add a payment processor, click on the big ADD NEW button or the +Add New Button by the top right corner of the page.
As of the time of this writing, SamCart integrates with two payment processors Paypal and Stripe.
A page will appear once you click the Create New button.
Click on Stripe or Paypal. You can login to Stripe by clicking on Stripe if you click Stripe.

The form is easy to fill out. Check to make sure that your country appears on Stripe payment acceptance lists.
If you’re willing to offer two payment options to customers, it will be a nice touch. Customers can choose the payment method they prefer.
Let’s now move on to the next step.
Step 3 – Create a Product
Now, return to your dashboard. You will be redirected to Payment processor page. This is the most interesting part.
After clicking on the button, you will see the following page.
Click on “+New Product”.
This page will show up for you to add new product information. Enter the product name, price and description. Select whether you’d like it to be a onetime payment or a recurring.
An ebook product will be a one-time payment product. However, an online course or membership will require a recurring payment option.
After you have added the product information, it is possible that you will need to provide additional information on the next page.
You’ll see them in the top menu. There are other settings that you can change to complete your checkout.
Let’s start by looking at the product image. Upload your product image. The image that will show up like this one one SamCart checkout page:
You can enter the URL of the webpage your customers will visit when they make their purchase from your checkout page. Most people will have a page like yourdomain.com/thankyou.html Next enter the product type are you selling a digital product or physical product?

Finally, for this stage, if you’re going to use coupons for marketing, you can enable the coupon code option.
After you enable it you can add coupons that people can use for your product at a discount price.
Click on the Add New Coupon button, a pop up will show up with the following information:

Add an upsell product. Click on the Upsell Tab to edit the Upsell option. This is how an upsell product should look like:
This should be something your customers are able to add to their shopping carts to complement the product they have purchased.
To edit your Upsells, click on the UpSells tab and edit it. When adding a product to your cart, make sure you have created it, just like the product for belly fat. So you just need to click and add it.
It’s possible to add upsell funnels here if you have created one. We’ll talk more on upsell funnel later in this article.

Instead of receiving email notifications about their application being pending approval (which they might be), they will be approved automatically. Their login details will be sent to them immediately and they’ll be logged in automatically to their dashboard.
