You will then need to log in to your MailChimp email account in order for your API key. Log in to Mailchimp.com using your username and password.

Once you login successfully into your MailChimp account navigate to the Extras menu and you’ll find API keys in the drop-down list.

Click on Create a Key to get your API key generated automatically. You don’t have to do anything else.

Copy it, and then paste it into the SamCart integration set-up.

You can proceed to enter the information and then click the button for integration. Your dashboard has all the information. Log in to OptimizeMember Dashboard to view them.

Next, customize your email settings. This functionality is available by clicking on the Email tab. Some settings that you can edit are:

a Email Footer – Here you can edit your footer details, which will be included in all emails you send from your dashboard.

Click on the Edit button and edit it.

What about when processes fail? This is where you can set up the emails that are sent to customers when processes fail. They are known as Dunning Emails.

To add custom fields, click on the + Create New button.

A pop-up will appear.

Enter the name of the fields you want to add, the internal field name won’t be seen by your customer but the check out page label will be shown to the customer as the field name.

The drop-down list will display a list of items when you click on the box. The customer can only select one item from a drop-down menu.

A checkbox will have several options that a user has the option to choose from. Customers have the option to choose from all of them (or just one)

This is a single item checkbox though.

Click on Save once you are done.

You can add as many as you wish. Let me warn you: Customers hate long forms. Be brief.

They will likely abandon their shopping cart. Like I stated earlier, 2 out of 3 customers will abandon their shopping cart.

Keep it simple.

Just enter their email address in the Enter email field and click on Add New. You will receive an email inviting them to accept your request. Once they do, they should be able to login as an administrator, too.

You’re done with Step 1 in the setup process.

Step 2: Connect to a Processor

Go back to the previous tab if you’ve been following this tutorial. Now you will connect a pay processor to allow you to receive payments. Click on “Add Payment Processor”

You will then be taken to Settings again. You will find the payment integration option here.

To add a processor to your payment page, click on either the +Add New Button or the ADD NEW BUTTON in the top-right corner.

SamCart is currently integrated with Stripe and Paypal as payment processors.

Click on either Paypal or Stripe. Clicking on Stripe will bring up a page for you to log in.

Step 3: Create A Product

Return to your dashboard. You will be redirected to Payment processor page. This is the exciting part.

Click on this button to open the next page

Click on the +New Product button.

This page is available to you for adding new product information. You will need to enter the product name, description, and price. Also, choose whether you want a one-time or recurring payment.

A product such an ebook will typically be a one-time purchase type. However, a product like a membership, or an online course, will likely require a regular payment option.

After you have added the product information, it is possible that you will need to provide additional information on the next page.

The settings are located at the top of the menu.

Let’s start from the product image. Upload your product image. The image that will show up like this one one SamCart checkout page:

When customers make a purchase on your checkout page they will be directed to a specific webpage. Most people will have a page like yourdomain.com/thankyou.html Next enter the product type are you selling a digital product or physical product?

If it’s a digital product, you have the option to upload it immediately. But, if you don’t have a digital product to upload, you can ignore it. Samcart $19 Month

Final note: If you are going to use coupon codes for marketing purposes, you can enable this option.
