Step 1 – Edit Settings

If you choose MailChimp from the drop-down menu, edit the integration details. Add the integration name and your API Key.

To get your API Key, log in to MailChimp. Go to Mailchimp.com and log in with your username and password.

Custom Fields Click on the + Create New button to add a field.

Please enter the names of the fields that you wish to add. The customer won’t see the internal field name, but the check-out page label will.
A drop-down list of items appears when you click the field. For a drop down list, the customer is limited to selecting one item.
A checkbox can contain multiple items that the user can choose from. The customer can decide to choose all of them or choose just one out of all of them.
This is a single item checkbox though.
Click Save when you are done.
As many as you like. You should be aware that customers dislike long forms. Be brief.
They will most likely abandon the cart. As I mentioned earlier, two thirds of customers abandon their shopping cart.

Enter their email address and click on “Add New”. They’ll receive an email to accept your request. Once they do, they should be able to login as an administrator, too.

Step 2: Connect a Processor
If you have been following the tutorial, go back to the previous tab. You will need to connect a processor in order to receive payments. Click on the Add payment processor button.
The Settings tab will open again. There you’ll find the payment integration choice.
To add a payment processing processor, click the big ADD NEW button in the top right corner.
SamCart is currently integrated with Stripe and Paypal as payment processors.
When you click on the Create New tab, a page with this information will pop up:
Click on Stripe or Paypal. Clicking on Stripe will bring up a page for you to log in.

The form is easy to fill out. Make sure your country is the list of countries that accept Stripe payments.
If you’re willing to offer two payment options to customers, it will be a nice touch. Customers can choose which payment processor they prefer.

Step 3: Create a Product
Now go back to your dashboard. Return to your dashboard. Here’s the fun part: click on the Add first Product Button.
Click on this button to open the next page
Click on +New Product.
This page will show up for you to add new product information. You will need to enter the product name, description, and price. Also, choose whether you want a one-time or recurring payment.
A product such an ebook will typically be a one-time purchase type. However, a product like a membership, or an online course, will likely require a regular payment option.
Once you add the product information, you might need to add more information in the next page that’ll show up.
These settings can be found in the top menu.
Let’s start with the product picture. Upload your product image. This image will appear on the SamCart checkout page.
Enter a webpage address your customers will be taken to when they complete their purchase on your checkout page. Most people will have a page like yourdomain.com/thankyou.html Next enter the product type are you selling a digital product or physical product?
If it is a digital product you can upload it immediately. But, if you don’t have a digital product to upload, you can ignore it. Reset Stats On Samcart
Finally, this stage allows you to enable the coupon codes option if you intend to use coupons for your marketing.
When you enable it, people will be able add coupons to your product to get a discount.
Click on the button to Add New Coupon. A pop-up will appear with the following information.
You can generate more customers by using coupon codes. Discounts are very popular with customers.
They’ll tell you that it might get very expensive in future, and they might not have enough money at that time.

To complete the coupon codes setup, select a code and choose whether the coupon will be valid for a single time or a recurring code. Choose the option that best describes the product you are offering your customers.

Click on the Checkout Design tab to choose from 18 templates at this time. Any one of these templates can be chosen to suit your brand.

SamCart’s Report System is one of my favourite features. It’s beautiful and does exactly what it was designed to do.
You can find out how your checkout page converts in the report section of your SamCart dashboard.

SamCart is aware of the importance of data-driven marketing and every forward-thinking company will use this feature. You can eliminate the guesswork from your marketing.
Your report system should allow you to track the changes made to your testing variables that have impacted or killed your conversion.

Log in to your dashboard and click the REPORTS button. A drop down menu will appear with several reports that you may want to view, including sales by product, subscriptions, refunded items, prospects, failed charges, dunning, funnels, upsell funnels, prospects, and sales reports.
And by the way, you get the summary on your dashboard home.

Credit Your Affiliates With Higher EPCs

In simple terms, affiliate marketing is the process of earning a commission by promoting other people’s (or company’s) products.

Everything happens in the SamCart associate center. And, before your affiliates can start promoting your products, they must first of all, sign up for your affiliate program.
SamCart customers already have an affiliate signup page, where they can sign up to become your affiliates.
To access this page you will need to log in and navigate to the “AFFILIATES” tab in your menu bar.
Once the page is loaded fully, scroll down to the bottom of the page until the fields are found that will allow your affiliates to login.
You’ll get something similar if you put the link to the signup page in your browser. However, it will be with your product name.
To promote your products and register as affiliates, click the link. Once your affiliates have created an Account, they will be notified by email that their application was approved.

Once they have been approved they will receive their login credentials Email, password, login URL. This allows them to access their accounts, as well as everything else they need, in order to promote your products.
If you don’t wish to leave them pending, activate automatic approval through your Affiliate dashboard.
To edit this settings, scroll down to the bottom of your affiliate dashboard and you’ll find a slide named Auto Approval you can toggle on or off:
So instead of receiving email notifications that they’re application is pending approval, they’ll automatically be approved. Their login details will be sent to them immediately and they’ll be logged in automatically to their dashboard.

How long do you think it will take for someone who clicks on your links to register but doesn’t actually purchase anything to be considered as an affiliate referral?
Can I, for instance, click on your affiliate hyperlink and then go back to your checkout page after 30 day and make a sale?

In your affiliate dashboard, scroll down to the point where you’ll find the Cookie Expiration option. Enter the number of days you want it to last.
In the below example, after someone clicks the affiliate link and purchases your product anytime within 30 business days, it will automatically be recorded for you affiliates.

Clarity Through Pixel Tracking
Pixel tracking: Have you ever heard that expression before?
You will need to code your analytics software into your checkout page.
This will allow you to track which email, which link or which ad has the greatest impact on your business.
Okay, I understand, you may not be a web programmer. It’s okay, though it can be difficult to learn how to program code.
SamCart doesn’t require you to be a developer. All you have to do is copy the pixel track code from your product page advance section. Then, post it there.
Here’s how it works:
Log in to SamCart, and click on PRODUCTS.
Click on Advanced Settings, and you will be given a box in which to paste your analytics codes.

One of the interesting features of the SamCart platform is it’s support for multiple languages.
You can therefore sell to anyone, anywhere in the world. Customers will quickly be able translate the checkout page to their preferred language.

So, how do you make that happen?
It’s easy, log in to your dashboard and navigate to the product section. Next, click on the Checkout Design tab.
At this point, the only templates that can support multi-languages is the “World Wide”, “One Page Funnel” or “World Wide” templates.
Choose any of them from the template library:
World Wide i. World Wide ii. One-Page Funnel Then scroll down the page to edit the settings.
Select from the available languages. Click on the Save button after you have chosen your preferred language.

It’s very easy, and you don’t even need to know any code.
From your Products tab, open any product. Then you should find yourself in the customize tab.
Click the CUSTOMIZE tab to activate the “Sales Letter Popup Template”.
After selecting the Sales Letter Popup template, remember to save your settings.
Scroll down and adjust the settings to create the Sales Letter Popup.
Once you have that all set up, click on the share button at the top left corner of your dashboard to grab the code you’ll add to your website.
There you have it. The code you should take to your website will look like this:
Copy the code below and add it to your product page. When someone clicks on the button, it will display a popup.
