It’s very easy to create an SamCart account. Log into SamCart.com. Click the “Try It Free” button.
You will be redirected directly to the pricing page, where you can select the plan that interests you.
You’re not required to make any initial payment before trying it out. After clicking on any plan, you will be taken to checkout.
During the 14-day trial, you won’t have to pay anything for the product. You can cancel your subscription anytime during the 14-day trial period.
After you have completed your order, you will be taken to the signup page.
Next, you’ll need to create a marketplace. This form will look something like the one below.
To get started, fill out the form.

Step 1: Modify Settings
Click on the Edit settings button, and the page you want to edit will be displayed in a brand new tab. You’ll automatically be taken to the page.
Let’s take it step by step.
The Edit page has five sections. You can edit the General tab to change a lot of things, such as your cart logo or your content URL parameters.
Let’s see what you can edit in this fields:
i). Marketplace Name. The Marketplace name can be changed at any time.
You can always edit it if that was not accurate.
The next step is to choose a default country to display on your checkout pages. However, your customers have the option to change this at any time.
ii). Time Zone: Now you can choose the Time Zone that your cart will work with. Knitting Samcart
This is important because if you add a product expiry date, your date and time will be counting based on the time zone you specified and you can let your customers know the time zone you’re using.
iii). Support Contact: Add your support contact email to this field. Add an email customers can contact you with easily.
Any email address you choose can be added. However, it’s better to add a business email address, for example, [email protected]
iv). Currency: It’s also important to note that you won’t be able to change your currency after you set it during registration. You can’t change the currency at this stage.
However, if you want to change it, you should be able to do that by contacting the SamCart support team.

vi). Purchase completion: In this field, you want to select where your users will be taken to after making a purchase. If you would like them to go back to the original URL, you can display a summary page or include redirect links. It’s your choice.
The Redirect Link Button text allows you to tell your customers what to do next by using a call-to-action button.
For example, they can gain access to your product, download the digital product that they have purchased, and join your premium section.
Once you have done all of this, you are good to go. But if you need to quickly configure your marketing analytics, you can do this as well.
The settings can be left as they are. You don’t have to make any changes. But if you want a customized setting you can go ahead and change the values in the fields with any name you desire following the example above.
After you are done editing the settings, please save them. The Save button is at the top right corner of the page.
Next, move to Integration menu tab. There is a wide range of integration options.
It’s important that you set up the integration now so you don’t have to create it each time you want to sell a new product.
Let’s get started with the integration of our email autoresponder software. To add an email address service, click the + Add New button.
Choose the one that applies to you. Once you have registered with AWeberor MailChimp click on it to follow the instructions.
Let’s assume that MailChimp is your autoresponder of choice for this example.
Select MailChimp from drop-down menu to edit integration details. Add the integration label and input your API key.
Your label can be given any name you want. That’s what you’ll use to identify this integration in case you want to use it. It’s best to name it something descriptive. MailChimp Integration will be my name. Knitting Samcart
Next, log into your MailChimp Account to obtain your API key. Log in to Mailchimp.com using your username and password.
After you log in successfully to your MailChimp account, navigate to the Extras menu. You’ll find API keys at the drop-down.
Click on the Create a Key button and the API key will be generated for you automatically. The API key will be generated automatically for you.
Copy it and paste it in your SamCart integration setup.
This is all there is to it.
If you also want to integrate another platform, the process might be a bit different.
You don’t even have to go to your dashboard in order to obtain your API Key. Aweber will automatically log you in to complete your integration.

These are the two main ways integration works in most cases.
However, if you have a product that is a member site, it might be a good idea to integrate with a members platform.

Click on the + Add New button.
This page will be displayed:
Click on Add Integration and choose the membership platform that you would like to use with your product.
I can go ahead and input the necessary information and click on the integration button. Your dashboard has all the information. Log into OptimizeMember to see them.
Next, customize the email settings. Click on the Email tab.
a). Email Footer: This is where you can edit and change the footer information that will appear in every email sent from your dashboard.
Once you click it, a popup box will show up for you to edit.

What happens when processes fail? These are where you will set the email messages that customers receive when processes fail.

Once you are done editing emails, you can add any custom fields you wish. You can add customized fields to your checkout pages by clicking the CUSTOMFIELDS tab.
Custom Fields Click on the + Create New button to add a field.
A pop up will appear.
Enter the name of your fields. Your customer will not see the internal name but the label for the checkout page will.
The drop-down list will display a list of items when you click on the box. A drop-down list allows the customer to choose only one item.
A checkbox may contain many items the user can select from. A customer has the option to select all of them, or just one.
It is a checkbox for one item.
After you’re done, click Save.
You can add as many as you wish. But let me warn you, customers hate long forms. Do not make your form too long.
They’ll most likely abandon it. As I mentioned, 2/3 customers will abandon the shopping cart.
Do not give them another reason to leave. As one of the reasons 27% of customers in the research say they leave a shopping cart is because it’s too long and complicated. Knitting Samcart
Please, keep it simple.
Enter their email address below and click Add New. Your request will be accepted by them via email. Once they accept the request, they should also be able register as an administrator.
You’re done with Step 1 in the setup process.
Next, let’s move on to Step 2
Step 2: Connect to a Processor
If you have not been following this tutorial, please go back and open the previous tab. At this point, you want to connect a payment processor to enable you to receive payments. Click the Add Payment Processing button.
Once again, you’ll be taken back to the Settings and the Integration tab. You will find the payment integration option here.
To add a payment processing processor, click the big ADD NEW button in the top right corner.
SamCart has integrated with Stripe (PayPal) and Paypal (as of the writing of this article).
After clicking on the Create New link, a page will open showing you this:
Click on Stripe or Paypal. You can login to Stripe by clicking on Stripe if you click Stripe.

You can start by filling out the form. Verify that your country is listed in Stripe’s accepted countries.
If you are able to include both payment options for your customers that would be nice. Customers have the option to choose their preferred payment processor.
Let’s now move on to the next step.
Step 3: Create A Product
Now go back to your dashboard. From where you were redirected to the Payment processor page. This is the exciting part.
You should now see the page below after you have clicked on the button.
Click the button “+New Product”
This page is available to you for adding new product information. Enter the product name and price. And also choose if it’s going to be a one time payment or recurring payment.
A product such an ebook will typically be a one-time purchase type. However, a product like a membership, or an online course, will likely require a regular payment option.
After you have added the product information, it is possible that you will need to provide additional information on the next page.
You can see that at the top menu, they’re other settings you can make to complete your check out.
Let’s start with the product picture. Upload your product image. The image you upload will look exactly like the one on SamCart’s checkout page.
Enter the address of the website your customers will see when they click on your checkout button. Most people will have a page like yourdomain.com/thankyou.html Next enter the product type are you selling a digital product or physical product?
If it is a digital product you can upload it immediately. You can ignore this option if the product is not digital. Knitting Samcart
Finally, for this stage, if you’re going to use coupons for marketing, you can enable the coupon code option.
After you enable it you can add coupons that people can use for your product at a discount price.
Click on “Add New Coupon” to open a pop-up with the following details:
Coupon codes are a great way for businesses to get more customers. Discounts are loved by customers. Some customers might even buy products they don’t need because of the discount.
They’ll admit that it might become expensive later and may not be able to afford it.

Complete the coupon code setup: Choose a code for your coupon code, set the duration will it be a one-time coupon or a recurring coupon code? Choose the best option to describe what you want your customers to receive.
Not to mention, adding a coupon can be completely optional.
Let’s now get to the checkout page design.
Click on the Checkout Design tab and then select from more than 18 templates at the time of writing. You can choose the one that best suits your brand.
To customize the design, scroll down. There are many settings you can adjust to make your brand voice heard.
You can begin by customizing the color.
You can choose the predefined color codes or create your own colors. The best thing about it is that you can use the color picker to choose the color you want, without having to worry about the code.
You can alter the colors of your header, footer and background as well as the buttons.
Next, add some fields. Check all fields you would like to see on your checkout webpage.

After you have completed the setup, you can add your terms and conditions. Now, turn it on.
Customers must accept your terms and condition before they are able to purchase your product.
Remember to include a URL that points to your Terms and Conditions content.
You will find the link at the bottom of your page under the hyperlink “Terms & Conditions.” Next, add the payment processor to your checkout page. Do not worry about repeating the steps in step 2.
You can click on the payments tab and change the active payment options.

If Stripe is integrated, you will find it active. You can also turn it on.
You can add a secondary payment processor as well. This is only for merchants that want to add a second product. Click on the drop-down menu to select an item. Knitting Samcart
You would like to add an extra product. Click on “Upsell” to edit the upsell options. This is how an upsell product should look like:
It should be an item your customers can add to their shopping cart to compliment the product they’ve bought.
Click on the UpSells tab to edit your Upsells. To add a product, you will need to have created it just as we did for the belly fat product. Click and then add the product.

Once they have been approved, they will receive their login details Email, password and URL. From there, they can access the accounts and all they need to promote your products.
However, if you don’t want to keep them pending, you can activate automatic approval in your Affiliate dashboard.
Scroll to the bottom on your affiliate dashboard and find Auto Approval. This slide can be toggled on or off.
Instead of getting email notifications that their application was pending approval, applicants will automatically be approved. The login details for the applicant will be sent immediately to them and they will automatically log in to their dashboard.
